Do Aries men make good long-term friends with benefits?

I've been talking to an Aries guy, who I've recently become attracted to. I know he isn't into a long-term relationship, and that's fine because I've got a lot going on in my life too. But I do want to connect with him as a long term friend. I'm afraid of losing him because he's so fun to be around. Will an Aries stick around for friendship?

i think fwb type situations in general are a waste of time and energy though....

I had an Aries fwb. Sorta. We had sex once and it was bad so I didn't want to have sex with him again. I don't think he enjoyed it either. Anyway, things got weird. He got deployed for a year but we were friends on Facebook so never really lost touch with him. He got back and we started talking as friends again but nothing serious...like here and there comments on each others post or once in a while a text message. He got some girl pregnant then the army moved him up north. We rarely talk and last time he came to town he texted me asking if there were any parties happening that I knew of and I told him about a music festival...he came to town but never contacted me while he was in town. I honestly could care less at this point but he seems to feel the need to keep contacting me. 🤷‍♀️
