This is eye opening! I am a pretty assertive fellow... the go-getter sort. I'd like to think I lead quite well. However, with aqualady, may have tuned my assertiveness down to a huge degree cuz i didnt want her to feel controlled or stifled. OP, you need to reign her in when she's emotionally open.. snatch that girl in like a cancer man BUT you also need to show your emotional side.
The way Scorpio finally got a handle of me was by admitting how he truly felt. Explaining WHY he's been acting the way he has or how I freak him out so he does certain things in return which had me running for the hills. It was a vicious cycle between us. When he talked things out, I FELT the genuinity in his words, and the sincerity in his actions of wanting me to be his.. once he did that I let all my guard down. Now I cling to him all the time, I'm super affectionate and lovey. I no longer see a cold face I just see him and the passionate emotions he feels towards me.
I'm also heavily Pisces so that may be it. If she's total air, you're going to have trouble. My fear of not letting go was lack of stability, security and/or full abundance of love on his part. I need that to thrive in a relationship.

Yes, I need tons of love and nurture from my man, it's essential to me. Without it I get lost within myself, wandering around trying to find it elsewhere. My combination of aqua/pisces is a difficult one to handle. I'm always at odds of who I am, who I need to be, what other people perceive, etc. hence my self expression is suppressed or doesn't come out right. I usually try to go with the flow but I'm constantly at war with my feelings. Showing too much? Not showing enough? Not showing at all?
