My Cancer sun is very strong but my two Taurus placements have a heavy hitting effect too.
I would say it's a decent combo, not a full Cancer really because i am Earth dominant, plus i have a decent lashing of air & fire too.
I compliment people rather well TBH except maybe the over critical type.

with the VIOLENCE, and the mars energy. mars/pluto in relationships can be dark, because they go through a kind of courageousness to go into a relationship that requires toughness. (and stupidity too you know, cause they say, courage is like being too dumb) or that you love too much but people see it as dumb dumb. the two edged sword.
