Yeah...Virgo/Aries mix here.
Aquas and Gemini's in my experience start teasing you in turn and tease/counter you more aggressively but it is always friendly. They start making witty comments. Aqua will throw a counter comment your way and smile helplessly, IME. They start having that mischievous looks on their faces π

Aquarius will not say anything just sit there with a puzzled look and maybe a smirk...inside they are mad. Oddly most don't want to be labeled as ever being shy and they hate being put on the spot.Aries is correct! But I laugh and joke about everything so sometimes you really won't know it's shyness.

I am very seldom shy - I've never really been a shy person. But when I am, I think my shyness expresses itself mainly through my sun, making me really awkward.

I find I use a mix of aries, libra and scorpio. I will try all of them as a defense mechanism....and if I still feel shy, I will resort to the nearest exit point.

That made me think about one time me and my girlfriends in class would speak on some subject in religion class. Problem was that we remembered five minutes before class begun and we didn't even have a subject. Got highest possible grade. Yup. Bring academy award here. LOL

The Leo discription is spot on for me. Normally I try to get away As fast as possible. I give small talk with a smile just so I don't seem like a complete prick the leave as fast as possible. The second the situation feels awkward I start to feel embarrassed and just want to get the hell out of there lol.

Must say I haven't met many shy leos, and I know quite a bunch. But I have seen quite a few shy aries people. It's actually a good look on them, imo. Honest, genuine and just sweet.π

When I talk with people with little or no insight into astrology, I often hear that a certain characteristics a certain sign has is present in other signs, or even in all of them. I tend to answer that this is true, it's just different energies and they are felt and shown in different ways, depending on sign.
Take shyness, for instance. I've made a list of the signs and my intepretation of how it would be shown in the different signs. I want to be clear that I'm not necessarily talking about sun signs, since that's just a small part of one's chart, but about the energy of the signs themselves. And also, when it comes to shyness, imo, when people grow older, they tend to be a lot less shy, so if you're 46 and think: well, I'm not shy at all, then please think back.
How the different signs express shyness(nervousness), in my experience.
Aries
Giggling/laughter.
Taurus
Paralyzed, not knowing what to do or say.
Gemini
Weirdly enough, I find that they may clam up...but, in all fairness, most often chatter endlessly, never stopping.
Cancer
Clam up and disappear(physically or inwardly). May get defensive and aggressive when there's no place to go.
Leo
Embarrassment...which makes it worse...aaand then may end up in a vicious circle, which, in extreme cases, may end in agressiveness or a strong desire to run away.
Virgo
Sweet and blushing(maybe not physically, just trying to describe the energy), trying to charm the other person(s) into stopping whatever they are doing to make virgo feel this way.
Libra
Babbling and trying very hard to turn the attention to someone/something else. Like virgo, tries to charm the other person(s) into stopping.
Scorpio
Shield up, say nothing and remove(not run, but remove) themselves from the situation or get aggressive if they feel it's the last resort.
Sagittarius
Must say, everytime I've seen a sag being shy, I'm willing to swear that was due to some other sign influence.
Capricorn
Awkward. Don't know what to do with themselves.
Aquarius
Please fill in the blanks for me. I don't feel I have enough experience of aquas to have an opinion.
Pisces
Scattered. Want to remove themselves from the situation, but don't know how or where to, so they just stay and feel bad, trying to push the "bad energies" away in their minds.
