Haha. I guess the reason I was leaning towards B was because our Sun sign's are more compatible and also both our moons are in Air signs. I always thought Moon sign compatibility was super important, no?

I actually don't mind intensity. I kind of prefer it actually!

Well the Cancer (B) is currently (sorta) dating a guy who has Leo Sun and Taurus Moon (she is Cancer Sun and Gemini Moon). So it sounds like she would be more compatible with him than me, right?

Interesting. I always thought having sun sign in compatible places AND moon sign in compatible places meant compatibility would be tightest. Like most of my close friends are earth sun signs with air or fire moons.

What made you come to the conclusion that sun/moon compatibility trumps that? Very curious!



My attraction to B has lasted for years and wont quit (I think were Karmic Soulmates, honestly). Curious why that would be..

Despite placements being compatible those cancer venuses will be no good for your cap Venus. I know this through experience as a cap Venus myself. I've dated guys with compatible moon mars and sun's with a cancer Venus and it didn't work. They are extremely social or have a drive for it, they also have a natural love for many people sometimes at the same time which influences cheating. Not saying all of them will, but their broad heart for many people will make that cap Venus of you wonder whether they are really with you, or you and the rest of the world. You need a place to find stability and eyes for only you, unless your into that sort of thing I would not try. They also have no problem letting go of people they say they love, some suffer from really bad depression and may have drinking or drug problems. I noticed men with cancer venuses seem to suffer more than women with this placement, but women are master's of emotions and contain so much more emotions, hormones etc than men.

Very interesting. I wouldn't have ever guessed that, honestly. Between the two I would think the Cancer sun might be more devoted than the Gemini sun, right?

Cancer Venus will always care for you and i love taurus placements they are earthly and rational..So his moon can balance his whimsical gemini. Gems sun are also so interesting, you'll never be bored. My partner is both gem sun and cancer venus, interesting and loving partner

why do I have such a mini obsession with the Cancer tho? Gaah! Is it because Cap and Cancer are opposite so the attraction is magnetic? It is soooo freaking strong. I think they also have a Scorpio rising.

There is something very...wild and dashing about the Cancer. Very soulful. I think they have Scorpio rising too so that is why they're so intense. Very, very sexy. The Gemini is sexy too but a more playful sexy. I'd say the Cancer is more soulful sexy. If that makes sense?

Maybe my Scorpio Mars digs the Cancer's intense Scorpio Rising vibe. No idea. Sometimes I feel like the Gemini lacks that soulful depth my Scorpio Mars craves.

You sound like you already made up your mind though, is there something stopped you? I realize that these partners are girls and that also changes alot of things. If you like the soulful sexy go for it!

I think both of these placements are good for you according to your natal chart..Just go for one you like and think about what you want foremost..A long term relationship or a fling etc etc

Yeah no, I could see that too potentially. From my experience though people with heavy Scorpio influence have a depth that is unmatched. When they go deep, they do deeeeeeeep. Powerful depth. Which I have in my Mars. I like the Gemini influence they BOTH have (One has Sun, other has Moon) but my concern with the Gemini SUN is what can seem fascinating about them in the beginning can prove to be what divides us later on. Whereas a Cancer sun is very traditional in nature, much like myself, so long term may be more secure. I don't know. I am thinking out loud here. Even though they say Sun signs are not the be-all-end-all of compatibility, they are a pretty big point of compatibility nonetheless.
