Posted by clippityclopDid you make that up right now. Like you know it happened to someone you know in real life?
Its called,
"You" by Caroline Kepnes
Its about some obsessive stalker who works at a book store... a girl walks in and he likes the look of her, and likes the things she says. The book is written to her.. example, "and then you walked into my bookstore..."

Posted by ACsquareplutoMany thanks for the feedback. 🙂

Yes, that was a joy to read. Great first-chapter hook, especially in establishing that the narrator's brother is the grand caliph. Reminded me of a modern-day true-to-life Dune.

Posted by NemDeuxNp, if we're online at the same time i can unhide if you'd still want to read it.Posted by Mr_Pinchysorry i missed your post. checked in yesterday after work and you hid your post.Posted by ACsquareplutoMany thanks for the feedback. 🙂

"i'm thinking of ending things"
by Iain Reid.
veryyyy creepy and unnerving. read it in one sitting. to be fair i have time atm (holiday).
With remarkable, masterful skill, Iain Reid builds a plot that steadily crescendos into a harrowing endingone that will have you at the edge of your seats and one that you will never see coming. Thinking of Ending Things is an edgy, haunting debut. Tense, gripping, and atmospheric, this novel will pull you in from the very first page and will never let you go.
within the book the question of solitude vs relationships is brought up and it's pros and cons heavily weighed.
loved it. 4/5 stars.

Thanks 😀👍
so i checked your book rec on book-depo. oddly i am in a "crime mood" ...it´s in my basket.
i finished YOU - and guess what, the author, kepnes is a bloody scorp. AND there is a sequel ...."hidden bodies" wich is also in my basket ....
i also finished both bios.
the ice-man (richard kuklinski)
and the jodi arias case book written by the prosecutor, juan martinez.
all of them get 5 stars from me. i´ve had a very fruitful and engaging reading month; also my mobile phone broke and i really am reading more since that happened; using this old pre-historic model just the basics which is great. i can recommend that too. de tox.
just started eichmann in jerusalem ...i like arendts clear way of writing.
