Cancer Man and Leo woman
hey crabbeme! I'm surprised your Pisces acted like that.. not a typical Pisces thing to do! Although I'm a Virgo, I'm convinced that those rumors about the signs being wrong are true and that I should be a Leo because I act and think EXACTLY like a Leo. So.. let me tell you this. I'm kind of dating a Cancer right now and the biggest issue is that he doesn't give me enough attention. Leo girls LOVE to be in the spotlight and almost kind of expect people to worship/admire them. If we don't get attention from the one we want.. we seek it elsewhere. I'd never cheat... and I don't think most Leo girls would either, Leo is a very loyal sign. BUT, they'd try to make you jealous so they could see if you really do care about them, which would make your Cancer sensitivity push them away I'm thinking. Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems how it's been for me kind of. I dated a Gemini and HE needed to be in the spotlight even more than I did and he drove me nuts.
also my Venus is in Leo so maybe that's why I act that way in love? I've really toned it down though.. gotten over that whole "give me attention thing" lol

Don't worry, you're doing a good job it sounds like. My situation is kinda different.. my crab is verrrrry shy and antisocial.. doesn't even have minutes on his phone right now and hardly ever uses facebook. We live 3 hours away but I'm moving to his town to work for the summer so it should get better. But I hadn't heard from him in over 2 weeks and he just wrote on my facebook wall and IM'ed me today. (Of course I was sleeping!) but yeah.. he definitely is not giving me enough attention. Sorry 3 weeks and not a single hello is kind of ridiculous. When I'm with him it's fine.. he's just like you.. gentleman with the doors and paying for everything and very sweet and polite. But the distance just doesn't work. I think you'll be fine!

If she's spending time with you and calling you accept the fact that she adores you and want you in her life. Stay consistent! AND PLEASE DO NOT PULL A DISAPPEARING ACT! Sometimes you guys can go a little off on what you want, so make it clear to her how much she means to you! Reassurance will dissolve the insecurities!

I don't know if you are too needy crabbeme but I would try to pace myself a bit. You sound like you may be falling in love with the idea of love... not so much with who this girl really is. This seems to be a Crab trait whether we let it show or not. I can be crazy about someone but hide it... while others show everything they are feeling.
Can I ask, how fast did you move with the Pisces and how long did it take before the idealistic version of the relationship started to crumble? Our past can be a clear indicator of our possible future.

ok, yes things improved, and we talked more on the phone, I saw her Wed and because she was sick for two days and she has plans with her friends on the weekend, we are seeing each other Monday......
I always tell her how special she is to me, I always tease her and make her laugh, and I love hearing her laugh since I think Leos are scared of boredom?

Don't be too available at first. this kind of goes with the attention thing. If I'm getting too much attention like within the first two or three weeks, it irritates me. I don't want him to text me back like within 30 seconds all the time, I don't want it all to be super easy and predictable. Then I'll get bored with it fast! If I get bored then it will lead straight to disinterest in a romantic way and I probably won't be interested in him again.
There's this Cancer guy that has a huge crush on me. He's very clingy, very in my business, he texts me all of the time, he's way too available and predictable. It's a huge turn off for me. If I invite him to the club or a party, he stays by my side most of the time even when I'm trying to mingle and have my own fun. Omg once at the club, he just stared at me while I danced with my girls. That s h i t annoys the f*ck outta me! lol Just keeping it real here...I don't like it at all!
We're very much alike in so many ways. What I meant by my comment was exactly what you've stated. My cancer poured it on so thick so fast, to the point I was put off because I've never been around a man that was more emotional than me. I began to wonder if he was sincere which made me leery. As you stated, don't show too much too soon or I'll become bored, less interested and move on to something challenging. However, with my cancer, I've been in love with him since 1991, so I wasn't going too far.
