Hi!! I hope I can help : )! I am a cancer woman with my moon in the first house! My scorpio fiance cannot even handle me at times! He tells his friends that I am the kind of woman you need to be ready for because I can be just a complicated one at time! hahahah! We're best friends and he wouldn't have it any other way! hahah! That's what he tells me anyways! Anyways, when I get moody, it's usually because my feelings are hurt! I put up a defense mechanism and wall and run away from my problems! A lot of times, it is because I do not understand my emotions! Cancers are very intuitive and feel emotions on a deep level! At times, we do not really understand our wave of emotions when they first hit us and we need time to analyze everything! During that time, we usually run away from our problems (like a turtle ducking into their shell and running away) or we become defensive and passive aggressive. We do not like feeling hurt. The cancer is ruled by the crab! Cancers need security in a relationship to feel okay. A crab has a shell on it's body for their own security. A hermit crab carries their home on their back and when they feel in danger, they duck for cover. Anyways, cancers will run away when they feel their sense of security has vanished (even if we are not rationally thinking). We run until we can find security again! It's almost like a defense mechanism in a way! A mature cancer will maybe run but will come back and work it out with you or stay and work it out! I think we are ruled so much by our feelings that we become selfish and only "feel" what is hurting us. We also do not like confrontation, so we may not even tell you what is wrong. My scorpio boyfriend had to talk to me about this because I would run away and break up with him every time he would say something about another woman that would make me feel insecure. Anyways, we're working on it and I know I will get better with time. Our relationship is ABSOLUTELY amazing... it's just something I need to work on! Anyways, I hope that gives you a better perspective on what goes on inside our minds. My boyfriend is AMAZING at deescalating the issue! He usually just tries to rationalize with me and he tells me how he feels. He never calls me crazy or anything like that! He sits down with me and tells me how much he loves me and how he does not want anyone else in the world. He makes me feel loved and I slowly start to poke my hermit crab head out of my shell. We just don't want to be judged for our sensitive nature. We want to be listened to and understood. But I am also the kind of cancer who cannot go long with space. When i run away, I usually come back in an hour ready to talk. Hee hee! I'm the kind of cancer who feels guilty for running off! Anyways, a relationship is a two way partnership! Your partner needs to be willing to speak with you! I dated a cancer man once and OH MY GOODNESS... they are soooo hard to understand. I don't know if It's because I mostly have air in my chart or if it's because men and women act differently! I'm not quite sure! But, I would just try and understand him! Show him how you feel with hugs, and kisses, and words! He probably just feels insecure. If he wants space, then I would give him space ❤️! If it's meant to be, it will be... but he needs to be willing to put in the work as well and make an effort in communicating his feelings to you so you know what needs to be done to fix this situation! Thank you for the insight. Your man sounds very patient and understanding with you. I think I'm a handful at times too. I don't do the breaking up thing though. I hold it in when I feel like running and it usually passes once I've cooled my head. I guess all relationships get frustrating at times but you just have to ride the waves. My Cancer is pretty good at communicating his feelings. I think I'm the one with the issue in the area sometimes. I try to avoid conflict too (I have cancer mars), his mars is in Aries and although I have more fire than him, he gets more heated than I do. The other day he called me in a great mood. Then something happened inbetween because he called me later that day in a horrible mood, angry at his friends and the world. Then he called me a few hours later happy again. Dealing with the bad mood bits is hard. I never know the right thing to say and if I say nothing and just listen he wants to know why I'm not saying anything then I say something that usually pisses him off lol. I'm glad the moods aren't often but it's really hard to stay positive and calm and not get dragged down in it or say something I'll regret when they hit.

Yeah the Cancer does it to me when I'm not talking enough because I'm half asleep. I think boys just do that. I was dating an aqua before this one and he did the same thing. It's annoying af. And you can't even answer no I'm not, because they keep at it til you do get mad because they wont shut up.

Or you know , just leave them be and they will come out of their shell eventually

Honestly, I get moody when I'm hungry or tired. It's just basic necessities, and it just happens. So maybe eat with him and take a nap? Sounds like caring for a child but at least for me 9/10 it's when I'm most "crabby"

How do you put up with it? Patience isn't a virtue I have. I get so close to dumping his ass sometimes and then I just tell myself he's on his period and bleeding from his vagina and it will pass then he'll be good again. I don't know how a guy can be the awesomest and the worst at the same time. At least it's never boring though.

I couldn't ...after 7 yrs of arguments not just about his moody ass but about everything . I just had enough. I still love him though ..always will but he had a lot of growing up to do. But I'm not innocent either...I provoked him and was kind of a harsh bitch. I had a lot of emotional shit going on during that time...not an excuse but it's the truth.

We had distance between us that helped...so it not like we could just run across the street and see each other...that was nice tbh. But yeah, it was def not boring...never knew what Id get when we'd see each other lol.

I remember one time...idk exactly what happened but he literally stormed off like a child and slept on my couch. I tried to get him to come to bed but he wouldn't budge and even had a pouty lip...it was ridiculous. I rolled my eyes and told him to grow up and went to bed 😂. He was still pouting in the morning but grabbed me, hugged me and pulled me on the couch. Smh lol

Omg I feel like I’m heading this route n I saw you’re a Virgo too . Im around n I’m tired of him avoiding talking , ignoring n not acknowledging the problem just for it to happen again get mad n ignore it again ..is it the itch ? I don’t know how much longer I can last .

My crab is awesome most of the time. He's funny, sweet and charming and he makes me smile. But when he's got his crabby pants on, he's annoying as fuck and frustrates the shit out of me.

So... is there anyway to fix or prevent the shitty moods?

How's this, you let him fucking be in a bad mood when he feels like it if he's "awesome most of the time" ? I don't see the problem.

You can't fixe their moods

Their are controled by the moon

It's even hard for them to control it

Am in relationship with a cancer man since 9 years .. i just learned to live with it.

If you love him or like him enough just copy with it .. check the moon phases it will help u .

Understand his mood swings

They never want to go out or socialize with people when it's half or full moon.

They need to be alone and not speak to anyone.

They can get angry so fast for a small things during this time.so don't fight back

Just give them space or try to create a calm

environment.

By keep on

Telling him how much you love him

And that u understand his mood swings.

By the way It's full moon

Don't take it personal.

If he stop talking or he gave u the slient treatment.the moon has a strong effect to their moods .. they even hates it when it happens.

Just a little over 2 months. As far as I know nothing's wrong. He's told me we're good together, etc. (I posted about it in a thread here). I think he's just processing his emotions. He also has a virgo moon and Taurus Venus. Which might mean slow romantically.

R u sure he has venus in taurus—?

I am patient and I can handle moods but sometimes hes mean. I think I'll probably end up with a complex because he always says things about my voice when he gets in a bad mood. He says I sound like a cabbage patch kid or a baby or he says something about my accent. Does your one complain or pick on you about something specific when he's mad?

Yes he does complain when he's in a bad mood and critisize me alot.

I learn to ignore it i know deep down he doesn't mean it he has a lot of positive things that i love about him so when this happen i just laugh or i try to make him laugh.

Most people hates when someone complain and picks on them.

You might think he wanna puts you down.

But trust me it's not their intentions.

They hate themselves when this happen and feel bad about it.

Try to focus on their good sides.

Lol agreed. They're hard work. I think they get easier as you get to know them though. He still drives me nuts sometimes but the moods last less time and he gets over whatever the reason faster now.
