First of all congratulations on your pregnancy. Second of all, do what's best for your baby and you. BUT remember that even though you current bf is willing to step up and do what a man is supposed to do, your child has the right to know why you decided that he/she should not have a relationship with the biological father. That's why you should tell the biological father. Then again, he might not even want to be apart of this baby's life but you did what was right for the child because your child is gonna hold a grudge against you if you deprive them of a relationship with their father. Let the doors open for communication, and later on your child will decide. In spite of this, communication gates, that does not mean that baby daddy is going to legally or morally step up or that your child, (if you tell them what was going on) will want to have a relationship with the dad.

And if anything remember that being a father is so much more than passing on genes. So if your bf is willing to take care of this with you, he is dad regardless of genetics
