That is where we and Sags hold some common ground, we want to be genuine and its a kick in the gut when you realize your way of doing things was pointless in the end. Usually around at age 30 for a Cancerian. Countless years of wasted emotional energy that the world will never understand the beauty of what it really meant to us and what we wanted it to mean to people.


I do believe however the sooner a cancer realizes how wasteful emotions are on the non important things we have in our mind we actually have a better chance of finding love. Because of we really want is 100 percent loyalty. That is why Cancers become fond of Virgos so much, they want the same thing except we have a hard time letting go of our ego. A Cancers ego is bigger than even a Leo, we are just in the dark about it like someone mentioned earlier.

I have always said we are actually capable of great things when the stars lines up in our favor, but we suspect that we are going to go through a depressive state after being happy and that is what makes being a cancer so freaking depressing. We feel like these emotions overpower at the worst times when we are in a healthy mindset and it make you angry and lashful after a while. I am learning a Cancer just needs to puts his emotional investment into a very small group can avoid this pitfall.

and to be honest while we are on the subject, I had to deal with a 70 year old grumpy Gemini man last week I just wanted to please and it put me in a terrible mood. Hence the original post.

However the Gemini Twins around my age can put me in a good mood anyday 🙂

I think cancer signs have alot of issues, and am sorry but are no match for Gemini or Virgo,

I feel sorry for you water, because deep down you think you are all misterious but people see your butter for what it is, a lost soul swimming in a fish bowl year after year.

I think Cancers are capable of coming across better if we actually applied more logic to our daily lives. However our cardinal nature usually takes over and we all of a sudden want to rule and domineer people even though we really like being behind the scenes. Its like we can see a persons internal weaknesses and we can't figure out whether to protect it or exploit it so the person can face it. When we do the latter it is usually in a horrible way as we feel that is what everyone is really thinking behind your back. We want you to be as mad about it as we are for you.

Also I think the jealousy stems that we would like to be more logical except it didn't come natural to us at birth and we have to learn it. The Cancer ego gets bruised when we deal with logic signs because we do want to learn your way of thinking as we feel it is better, but our lives have all been emotional thinking up to this point with small shards of logic and it becomes discarded like it never mattered which makes us feel like we have lived non-genuine lives.

Thanks for the insights HT. Introspection can be difficult at times, but you make it look easy. I'm wowed by your kindness, intelligence and ability to verbalize something that appears so complicated (the Cancer state of being) to someone like me (simple earth sign...I admit it!), in such a candid fashion. 😉
