I've been dating a cancer man since June, but didn't become exclusive until February. We spent 3 to 5 days a week together, cooking, dancing, singing, laughing, drinking just all around having fun. We also talked about our future and worked on business plans together. I had him every holiday and what we had was effortless it just flowed organically. Now here's the problem. In March, my bday weekend I heard his doorbell ring at 6 a.m. on a Sunday morning so I nudged him to say hey babe someone's at your door. It turned out to be some chick in her feelings about his absence and lack of communication with her (I said oh you got this girl tripping, because you're still doing the you know what). Nonetheless, we discussed this matter and put it behind us. Fast forward, this past Thursday, he seemed distant and I realized he hadn't called me all day. I reached out, but he texted and said he was in his zen mode watching movies so I said okay no problem; however, it did raise some concern because from the day we met we've never not talked ever. Now this past week, I was with him Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, coming home Wednesday morning. Now back to Thursday. I went to the casino 4 minutes away from his home with my sister. I won big ( $ 29,793) so I was cashed out in cash after taxes. I was so excited, yet afraid to leave the casino with that sort of cash so I called him immediately to come pick me up, but no response (not normal). I against my better judgment drove to his home after texting him that I was heading his way and as I pulled up I saw a car parked in his driveway (mind you it's after midnight) and the license plate was a female name (personalized plates). I kept driving in shock and went home. I didn't know what to do and I just cried, because I didn't see this coming. The next morning I went back to his house, but the car was gone so I called him but he didn't answer, I then texted him in a positive manner like we do and told him I stayed over night at the casino and was heading his way and he said okay. I get there and he greeted me as usual but immediately said why are your eyes so read and glossy and I just said because all the smoke at the casino. I proceeded to tell him about my evening and what I had won and then followed it up with talking about us. He said that he and I were in a great place as we continue to get to know one another and he proceeded to say I was his peace and that being with me has taught him so much, followed by I checked all his boxes and he loves being around me. At that point I decided I wasn't going to confront him about seeing the car; however, he then said he's not entertaining other women and that I was enough. I lost it because I knew he was lying so I said interesting so explain to me the car in your driveway last night. The look on his face was of shock and he proceeded to try to turn the tables on me and say I violated him by coming by his home. Truthfully, I didn't even see it as a violation, because my intentions were pure as I never expected to see that another woman would have been in his home after just being with me for 4 days straight. He said to me that I just killed our relationship and this is the very reason why he doesn't want to be in one. I told him he killed it not me and I'm not going to let you turn this back on me. He said you know what happened to the last person who did this, their dead to me so with that being said I have nothing else to say to you and please leave, so I did. I'm always going to leave with my dignity and respect although I had so much to say. When I stepped outside his door and turned around, I looked him in the eye and said you're being cruel and I'm hurting and he just looked at me and slammed the door in my face. I went to my car and texted him then immediately called but he already had me blocked just that quick. I then sent him a message on FB which he read, but blocked me on that platform. I can't eat or sleep and really didn't think I did anything wrong. I'm hurt because I want him to be accountable and fight for me. Hell he hasn't worked since October and once he ran out of his saving to ensure his rent and bills are paid, I've been his lifeline hands down. Why would he just dispose of me so easily? I'm not going to call him or try to communicate with him anymore, but I am really sad. What do I do? I've never dated a cancer man, but I do want to work it out. I love him and carved enough space in my heart to allow him to make mistakes and I meant that. I'm so confused. Thank you for reading this long topic and I appreciate your feedback.
