I reread your op, yea, as he may perceive you as someone who has the answers—you being the “sun” which is light to his 8th house of “searching deeper meanings”, it may be possible that he becomes obsessed with you or these people (depending on if he is a sun/moon/mercury/venus in 8th house) tend to become obsessive about people or things in general.
My husband is a sun in the 8th house. He can be extremely obsessive about things that shouldn’t really matter decades later to the average person... 🙄

I'm the OP. For some reason dxp wont let me log in woth the username i used for this post. Anyway, to answer your question im a Gemini but I have cancer venus in 7th house, sag rising, virgo moon. He is a cancer, pisces moon, scorp rising, cancer venus.
I feel like its fun having him around. A bit distracting from the day to day work grind. So i think im treading carefully

Your venus in the 7th house is your love language, and his venus is also in your 7th house so there’s synastry there too.
And yea, him being a scorpio rising, he will come off like a scorpio, they are intense and can be very attached.

One thing I will say is your moons are opposites, so really important to communicate what you guys are feeling. I found out that I have Cancer in 7th house. Recently met a male coworker who is a Cancer. We didnt click immediately as he was being a dick when we first met but since then he has developed into a more nice and friendly person towards me. Almost like we have become friends. I recently learned that my Sun falls in his 8th house.
We met at an office function for the first time and he wad genuinely happy to see me. Even going as far ad hugging me twice and saying that he was so happy to see me. He told a female coworker that "shes mine. I love working with her" pertaining to me. And also, he told me that he has more connection talking to me than the other lady in the team who is doing the same job as me. I told him thats only because we sre closer in age.
