Why me? I have to work tomorrow AND Sunday. Ugh. Even if I wanted to let loose on my bday I couldnt smh.

Why do I think I spotted another meteor or comet a few minutes ago? That will be two this year, IF it was one...it was something, I know that much. They are beautiful but scary to look up and see.

Somebody please talk me out of telling aqua how I feel about him. Yes, I'm going down this road again. Sometimes I HATE being a cardinal sign.

At the mall I was stopped, as usual, by a guy who worked at a vendor trying to sell me this nail buffer, cuticle oil, and lotion set. He buffed a nail, and it was so shiny. Then he rubbed lotion all over my hand and I loved how my hands looked and felt, but I didnt have enough cash on me to buy it..plus I didnt want to lol. He initialy priced ot at $ 79*rolls eyes* then went down to $ 59, then $ 29 lol. I told him I didnt have money on me, then another guy who worked there asked me how much I had. I said $ 5 lol, and he said give it here. He sold the whole kit to me for $ 5, and then decided to give me my $ 5 back so I got it all for free. I gave them both a hug. That was so darn sweet.

Yesterday before I went home I stopped by Popeyes and ate hoping the food would make me feel better. I do have a tendancy to pick at chicken, and this guy was watching me. When I finished he asked if I was finished eating and I said yes. He then told me to leave it there so he could eat it. I thought he was playing, but he was serious. He ate it lol. I didnt have any more cash on me. If I did, I would have bought him his own. He left out behind me and was all loud telling everybody he was leaving with his wife(me) lol. I was laughing and he said he hoped he brightened my day and also thanked me for the food, which I wish I could have given him more.

Anyway, I love meeting and talking to sweeties. The freebie today was probably one of the nicest things that has happened to me in a lil while.

My Libra son decided he wanted to stay home with mom tonight rather than hang out with a friend 😄
(ok, we didn't do much, but none the less 😛)

I mean what kind of man sends a GENERIC text on Christmas Eve to his girlfriend and doesn't respond to a warm reply? And what kind of man gets a text from her kids thanking him for the gift and doesn't respond? Really?!! I'm hoping there's a good explanation since he is at work, but, come on! How long does it take to send a quick text? WTF!?!

i finished reading Life of Pi and just watched the film... I highly recommend both. In fact the movie did a great job of depicting the book, though as usual, you do miss a few gems and tidbits translating a book to film. Yann Martel is a very spiritually inclined writer and has a humble but fresh perspective on life. Irrfan Khan and that new actor Suraj Sharma did an awesome job.

Definitely... the movie had more of a religious, and even christian, leaning than the book did. It tied up the message really well at the end though, so I didnt mind and I'm far from christian. And I thought it started slow too, but imo compared to the length of the book it seemed like it might have been on pace.

That movie looks fantastic... I've been wanting to see the play for a while. Go see the movie?

i'm a crazy person... when i hear things that should scare the shit out of most people, i go running to check things out and make sure everything is ok like i'm some 6'2" stacked guy that can handle himself if it were a robber... not some 5'4" feather weight, blown over in a little wind. *smh*

There's a girl on youtube whose videos Ive been watching for a while now. She gives the best natural hair advice, shows how to do the cutest hair style s, shows how to make your own products, and she has the cutest personality. Ive been trying to figure her sign for over a year now, and finally I saw a video where she says its her bday...and that day is Dec 23rd! She says her husbands bday is 10days before, so hes a Sag, and they have an adorable relationship it seems.

Just thought it was interesting to FINALLY get her bday and its the same as mine.

I just made a really tasty fennel avocado salad. I'd never had fennel before. at least not that i know of. so good!

thinly sliced fennel bulb, thinly sliced red onion (1/4cups), half avocado sliced, juice of one lime, grapeseed oil, salt and pepper to taste. very healthy for you!

😛 either way it all sounds good. I am really hung up on this glorious blub right now. and that fennel bake sounds amaze balls... time for lunch!

Its been 7 years now that i started to smoke. In the begining i was very much in control and would smoke only occassionally. Later i started taking resolutions to quit but of no use. Today i smoke if i have to celebrate or if i am upset or whatever be the reason and the scary thing for me is that i no more feel scared of the ill effects of smoking.Today I turn the cig packted when i see the warning signs or pics or close my eyes when i see warning adds before a movie in a theater.
How cig captures your mind u dont even come to know.

I would agree! She is still a kid though (early 20's) which is why I commented on it. I know many grown adults who just don't care if they have to pay a few extra dollars (the worst offender being a Virgo who says he refuses to pay late fees and believes he has the right to pay whenever it suits him and they have no right to penalize him).
