seems like the last stone.

fell asleep last night at 10:30. woke at 12:30am. aaaaaaaand couldn't get back to sleep. i tried everything except alcohol and sleep pills.

freaked out about work. @.@

my favorite stone is chrysoprase??_

it's a beautiful natural blue green colored stone that almost seems to glow when you are looking at it in person. i think the third picture there does a decent job of capturing that inner glow. the color is so bright that it makes me feel happy just looking at it. being a long time craft jewelry maker??_ i look at a lot of rocks n stones, a lot of them are gorgeous, and worth much more than this humble rock, but chrysoprase is still my absolute fave.

it's a cryptocrystalline rock which means that the crystal structures are so small that you have to view them under much higher magnification. this is what gives it its translucent almost opaque consistency ...unlike other rock crystals such as amethyst and quartz that are transparent.

the crystal healing properties of it say it encourages hope, joy, friendship, and brings good luck and prosperity. it also strengthens insight and higher consciousness. if you're into all that "spirit science," it opens the fourth chakra, the heart chakra.

i just bought a nice high grade set of these stones so now i'm chrysoprase high 😄 they're gorgeous and i'm geeked!

Whenever the moon crosses from Pisces to Aries it messes with me. Including but not limited to bizarre, feature length dreams. Maybe because it's crossing from my emotional influences to my physical influences (Lunar Piscean, Aries Mars)?

My sister took me out to eat today, we agreed it would be considered a late birthday present lol.

Anyway, she took a picture of my neice and I at the table and posted it on facebook. There are comments from her friends saying "oh, that's what she looks like" from my Cap friend saying "you finally got her out the house" from others "I haven't seen her in forever."

Thanks guys! Drank myself into oblivion yesterday. Back on my feet today!! Told my GF, she has ties to the Chamber of Commerce and will network on the end for me. Someone else I know is with the State in a higher up position, so I need to hit her up. And, I contacted an old (boy)friend who will also help however he can (he's retired chief of police). Not even 10am on a Sun morning and feet are on the ground!!

I did try for McD's, but my daughter refuses to hire me
There is a silver lining in there somewhere...

Maybe I'll get a tat (don't have any) - paw prints on my heart

When is a good time to switch jobs?
I've been at the same company for over 10 yrs worked my way up n through 3 takeovers/re branding.
One of my ex colleagues recently left and said if jobs come up she'll let me know.

Yesterday she said a role came up n to send in my resume quickly. So I've sent it - I wasn't looking to update it n have a proper talk with her until May as I'm on hols. I spend time fixing it up and sent it.

At what point do I tell the cap that I'm applying for jobs or wait till I'm offered the role or just not say?

speaking of dreams, I've had plenty of dreams with people i actually know in them lately. i very rarely dream about people that i know.

so i wear hospital scrubs through a majority of my work week. i'm in and out of hospitals, surgery centers and clinics. so it makes sense.

several times, while at grocery stores or drug stores, sometimes even department stores, i've had people think that i work there, wherever there is at that time and location (not a medical center). it cracks me up??_

i just had this lady screaming "EXCUSE ME!" from down the grocery store aisle AT me??_ while I was on my cell phone with a hospital??_ while I had salad in my hand from the deli??_ while I was staring longingly at the frozen pizzas. What the fuck part of this picture would make any sensible person think that I work at the friggin grocery store?

the scrubs?! I don't effin buy it??_ baby blue hospital scrubs mean HOSPITAL employee! not grocery store employee.

and even if i were an employee??_ don't yell at me while i'm having a conversation on a cell phone.

there's this anesthesiologist that i don't run into that often, but when i do, he wants to hang out??_ so last time i ran into him, i made it abundantly clear that i have a bf, etc??_ he still wanted to hang out. so i said i'd let him know next time there was an outing in a GROUP setting.

so every week for the past three weeks he's tried to get out for happy hr with me. he's not so much persistent as he seems almost willful about it. i'm a busy chick and I'm sorry but i'm not exactly going to put a whole lot of effort into carving time out of my already busy and stressed schedule for a guy that in all likeliness is trying to see if i'm serious about my bf.

first week, he seemed cool that there was nothing going on. second week, he got a little testy. this week, he's starting to get on my nerves and now i'm really asking myself why the fuck i'm even humoring this anymore.

you don't make friends on one person's schedule buddy.

I feel like I've been abusing myself via neglect. How can I as an earth sign have such a hard time staying grounded? My head is in the clouds constantly, and its a struggle, literally, trying to connect with myself and stay out of this fantasy world I've created in my head. escapist to the max, and I've been this way since I was a child. if I knew how to balance the fantasy with reality things would be different, but I don't.

I feel uninspired and tired. I am close to quitting my day job, but I haven't mustered the courage to do it yet.

I'm getting on a flight back to Las Vegas.

It's assigned seating. I have a middle seat. This guy walks up, looks at me, smiles, starts to take his jacket off. So I ask him if he's sitting at the window, so I know if I need to get up and get out of his way or not.

He didn't answer, so... I ask him again. He smiles then points to the girl sitting across the aisle and says, "thats my girlfriend."

LOL! Sooo I guess these days when asked a yes or no question by the opposite sex, we need to answer with our relationship status?
