i feel happier this weekend. 🙂

it was such an emotional week all week. being bogged down by other's problems and weighing it on your shoulders. hoping and wishing well and that everything will be okay.

taurus moon weekend too. So lovely. We went out to eat with the family members last night. We celebrated brunch last weekend with virgo birthday family members and last night too. We have quite a few virgo family members. lol

i'm hereby calling my middle finger my action finger from now on. i just sliced it open cleaning a mirror. and it barely just healed over from a golfing blister. it probably needs stitches and it fucking hurts. i would't be whining if it weren't also my sex finger. i know i'm being a big baby but this sucks. i'm not coordinated enough to click with my other fingers!!!!

this is a fucking problem.
#moody

Well, the good thing about all of this is that you have an excuse to go shopping!
Toy Time! 😄

I managed to burn my middle finger to a crisp as a kid. As in dark brown and crispy. Smelled like a weak steak.
Something to do with a cigarette lighter in a car and having a dumbass habit...

The bandages were funny though. 😆

yeow. weak steak huh? lol well that's slightly vomit inducing. poor thing

very good idea about a new toy. bright side, i guess, is after the initial shock, my finger tip lost all feeling. i cleaved it at a deep angle. so aside from losing a chunk of my middle finger, all is well again. yaaay.

in lighter news??_
😄??_ 😱
i ran out of time to get to the gem and mineral show here in Denver. my younger scorp sister has been in town and we've been busy hanging out, doing our two peas in a pod thing. i resigned myself to just wait for the biggie in Tucson next February. so the bf surprised me and went out with his bestie, also a talented men's jewelry maker, to pick up some jewels i've been coveting for months to make stuff with.

he pushes me to be better. if for no other reason than at least the simple fact that he deserves someone amazing.

love signs = compatible moon signs + compatible mars/venus.
it makes speaking the same language(s) of love easier which is, imo, the real key. that AND respect and cherish the individuality.

also, i've had to get used to spiders since moving to the mountains. i kinda have no choice. they're everywhere. i can either die of a panic attack, or just psych myself out and be "friendly."

now that it's late summer, we have a huge spotted orb weaver that's made a home in front of a window at our rental. this chick is gigantic??_ abdomen the size of a hazelnut with spikes.

kinda looks like so??_

she's spun a really impressive web with a daytime hideout. it's 2 feet in diameter. at night, i've watched her catch moths and other bugs. it's some nat geo shit. i can't help but respect this one.

how is Pluto in Capricorn treating you all?

How about the up coming Saturn in Sagittarius?

I read something about 11 degrees cap will be affected coming September. I'm still confused about it all.

Cappy mother in law has been having health difficulties. So we've been helping her alot. Nothing internal, just aches and pains in her body. Arthritis and stuff like that.

My father's the same way, has strong pain in his fingers and hands, legs. Arthritis.

Mother's also got some pain as well, and she's a Cappy moon. But it shouldn't effect anyone that isn't in that orb of capricorn or something. Still don't understand it all but wondering how health issues and also everything else in your lives are happening.

interesting. i've had sinus congestion/cold for the last week plus achy/weak feeling joints. i've chalked it up to the cold and perhaps something to do with altitude adjustment still? or i just need to get my ass to the gym. go on a hike. something.

hope you're feeling better. Cappy mother in law isn't doing too well with her aches. I've helped her out with groceries and cooking this weekend, so she can relax. She has to go to the doctors this week to see what they can do. *crosses fingers*

I hardly visit dxp anymore, but I'll vent while I'm here.

The leo's coworker called HR complaining that he and the manager were related, thus favoritism. Leo cited from the handbook that they're not closely enough related for it to matter, but HR still moved him to night shift. The coworker just wanted his hours, but she didn't get them, anyway. Also, she's married to the night shift manager and although she's on day shift, no one's going to fire her because of her connections (and she's terrible at her job so she needs to be fired). So, even though the leo is the one who knows how to do day shift best, he's on night shift where there's too many people and not enough hours. We now see each other zero times a week because our schedules interfere. He's looking for a new job but wow, I hate people. My mother also told me that she's suspended from work and may lose her job because a coworker claimed she threatened her. So, I hate people even more.

i dreamt about my best friend from middle school/high school, a cappy girl who we were thick as thieves back then. I hope shes okay. I started crying thinking the worst has happened because my dream was a sad one. we aren't in touch anymore, since we live so far away; we just don't keep in touch -- too busy with our own personal lives and the people within our world, and it feels weird to call out of the blue. I hope and pray she's okay; she's a very special person in my past and i remember growing up with her. She has a similar birthday with my cappy grandma.

It was painful. So much so that I got sick. :/

I'm actually really shocked I didnt break it. 110lbs of falling weight caught on a small area?

I guess the jury's still out on anything broken. It wont heal completely if it is. Not in a timely manner or correctly.

My thumb swelled up three times it's size on Sunday. Now the swelling is all but gone. Save for a bruise, a little stiffness and the skin sloughing off, it appears to be healing fast enough and fairly painlessly. The pain is all from the skin wound. Moving my thumb around doesn't hurt. So far so good.

Lololol... I'm in the market for a helmet now. No joke. I'm gonna be tearing up the mountainside this winter, and I'd like to live to tell the tail. After these last few weeks, a helmet is starting to look real s m a r t. Not sure what my deal is lately though. My bf and I just went camping this weekend and he followed me everywhere I went. Without ever admitting it... He was paranoid I was gonna hurt myself. Kinda hysterical, but completely justified. Tbh, I'm pleasantly surprised I didnt.

I just thought I was free n clear to dance in the kitchen. 😢 Nobody told me something broke in the kitchen recently!!!!

I just ran into the cutest guy. He flagged my mother and I down and said with the cutest smile "Yall look lost, maybe you can help me out since I am too." I was blushing the entire time he talked, which is rare for me since I usually hide my interest when I think someone is cute.

We pointed him to the direction of the place he was looking for. I had to get out the car and go into a building and as I was going in he, in my mind, made sure to walk past me. I asked basically cheesing "was that the right place?" and he replied "yes, thank you" with a smile. I was blushing so hard my mother asked "wth is wrong with you?" lol

If I had to guess his sign...Virgo! He was cute!, he got a reaction, and I was attracted to his walk, which is usually what gets me Virgos(I don't meet many at all). *sigh*

Things like this scare me. What if I get in an "official" relationship...I can't go around blushing at people. I had to ask my mother is reactions to other guys normal.

My boyfriend is having a rather heated discussion right now with two of 12 ex business partners in which the business went into serious debt and all other partners walked away from responsibility. There was nothing in contract. My bf and his bestie are the only two paying it back. Tens of thousands of dollars. I don't wanna give the exact figure, but I'll just say they have a good portion of it paid back and there's roughly 45K left to go, with lenders calling every week screaming about it.

This ex business partner seems to be really trying to put something on the table and my bf is taking things so personally... There's a gigantic wall up... Solutions are being shot down before the idea is conveyed. I really want to interject and tell him there's gotta be a compromise, but he seems so fucking passionate about how personally he's taking it that I'm afraid my head will be taken off.

I'm listening to one person trying to bridge a fiery gap while my bf just meteor blasts any progress or hope of progress.

I understand that he is taking ownership, but this seems like angry possessiveness.

It was an event. An annual outdoor event meant to bring in thousands of people but because of really bad rain (they planned it during Colorado's dry season), they ended up losing a ton of money.

I left the room while the convo continued. His buddies and ex biz partners were doing a good job of being understanding. When he finally came to see what I was up to, I delicately told him what I thought he needed to hear and he took it well.

The situation kind of is a big deal. He and one other guy are shouldering the financial responsibility of 10 other people. It's messed up his life temporarily. It affects my life now. And none of these other people have even acknowledged it despite his sincere urges to get momentum going where they can contribute or have an opportunity to step up. But instead they just scattered like cockroaches and left him and his buddy to handle the lenders who are really grateful that they didnt just abandon everything too. So it's been a lot of stress and he and the other guy arent feeling validated. It's been literal blood, sweat and tears. They bust their asses 60 hrs a week making really good money only to live frugally. I've turned into a decent cook cuz they dont wanna spend money treating themselves to a meal out, so I make sure they're not missing anything and happily fueled for the next grueling days work.

It'll all be paid off next Spring which is soon but they have a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Money goes in one hand and out the other ...I think it's demoralizing for them. Poor guys 😢

Looking on the bright side though... they've got these great businesses that are affording them the ability to pay off all this debt, they'll be able to fund the next event themselves. More power to 'em. And as long as it doesn't get rained out again, more profit to them.

i guess that was kind of a dire picture that i painted. we don't do fast food. that's the mothering side of me not allowing it. though, i have a feeling the bf probably springs for fast food at lunch sometimes. the fridge is well stocked with whole foods that we like, so it's not all that bad. instead of going out to a chop house, we stay in, buy thick cuts of ribeye and grill it ourselves. so if you need a good tenderizing method and seasoning recipe for steak, let me know 😛 you can eat really well just from the grocery store and internet recipes. foodnetwork.com has some good stuff. they just want the debt paid off asap. so we scrimp. i try to look it at positively. like a good lesson on meager living and how to appreciate luxury ...father saturn definitely showing itself. it's like a meditation for me, but i can tell it drives them nuts every once in a while. no denying it's nice to go out and get a 4 star restaurant meal from time to time. i know it's not a permanent situation so i try to be their cheerleader, keep them focused and remind them how far they've come along. meanwhile, my recipe book and culinary repertoire is growing. 😄

however??_ i gotta say??_ i don't know how the fuck people didn't burn themselves out years ago having to cook all from scratch. i'd go nuts. anne taintor style . i'd serve beer and peanuts for dinner.

thanks, creepy. Our virgo brother in law knows all the know-hows to cook bbq anything! 😄
It's weird, but virgo father in law is the expert in history, sports and virgo brother in law is the expert in beer tasting and alcohol, and collects lots of strange stuff (he even collects all the concert tickets he's ever gone to and everything that revolves around travel) also is a culinary in BBQ. We have had delicious bbq meals over there several times and we know it's always going to be delicious.

Well when it's work, and you're working super long hours, people don't have time to make meals which is why they go and buy quickie meals. Some fries and a couple of hamburgers, pizza delivery, ect. It's quick and easy. We stock up too with food; i'm a huge foodie person, and food is my weakness honestly. So we have lots of food in the pantry, so sometimes i have to make sure some of the stuff is NOT outdated, expired. Mother in law does the same thing, which she leaves food in there forever. My mother is also the same ironically, she'll have kept so many things in cupboards for years and years. Not perishable food, but stuff like pasta kept in tupperware type containers ect.

Speaking of expired stuff, just earlier today my husband wanted to take some vitamins and i bought a bottle of really good vitamins (i dont like buying the cheap stuff when it comes to health) so, looked around for it and found them just barely expired, by the end of the year. So gotta take those vitamins daily before it expires. 😄
I just forget that it's also healthy once the weather is getting colder now to take more vitamins, because the sun's energy is leaving us once again. I miss the summer.

how's the business venture with your gemini boyfriend, creepy?

it's been busy all weekend and part of the week so far. Been going with mother in law to physical therapy/fitness work out, helping her out. She has trouble climbing up the stairs in her house and her house has 3floors. So there's two flights of steps. if only there was a cheaper mobile stairway chair. They have those for disabled persons, for when they live in homes with stairs.

Also,it's been really sad. Grandma doesn't like eating at her age.😢 but if she doesn't eat, she'll die. it's horrible growing old. 😢 it's just so terrible for them, not being able to move about like the younger days. It must be so horrible.
it's either your mind goes, or your body goes. Or both.
