Makes sense because it’s how you communicate on a daily. I’m a Taurus but my mercury is in Aries in the 8th house. So when I speak I sound very brash and aggressive, and this intimidates people. I’m super blunt and don’t sugar coat shit. I also can just impulsively say things without thinking them through. And my 8th house influence makes me observe and research everything, and hate small talk. I really only get into the topic if it’s about something interesting like the occult, or conspiracy theories, etc. My communication style and personality isn’t like a Taurus at all.

Maybe? I dunno. Always felt the sun is the base and everything else is a different lens to view it through. They all stand alone, yet simultaneously mean nothing without the other.

I dont think trump talks like a baby... i think his style of talking is more nurturing/careful.. uses words like sweaty... honey... cancer rules the 4th house.. all about the home... gem makes him like... a womanizer that likes to have children bc his venus is also in cancer...

He does have a baby voice. He may not talk like a baby but his voice sound like one.

The degree of importance to which mercury plays in one’s chart has been gravely underplayed... often entirely omitted in this Astro pop culture. If it’s not the Sun, it’s the moon and vice versa....so the story goes!

I’m not sure I’d entirely agree with the opening statement, however, I do find it simply inextricable to say the least.

Well all I can say is my Mercury being placed in gemini is not strong in me at all. I relate fully to cancer Mercury which happens to intercept in Mercury.

Mine is in Aries and I think my 10th house. I tend to get intense when I’m talking and I’m very animated. Virguy is always telling me to calm down when I’m not even worked up or I’m just reflecting on when I was.... he’s def affected by the way I speak haha some people are drawn to the energy, others annoyed. Not for me to decide so I just be me and hope for the best. In older age I’ve grown more reserved (thank goodness) and have less random outbursts lol. I keep those for home or anywhere I feel comfortable enough to scream or sing or yell crazy to my animals lol.

My ex Scorp was the only one who was completely unphased by my delivery haha Pisces and Virguy seem to kinda loathe it lulz.

My merc just missed being in Libra as I have a virgo merc 29 degrees. It's in my 12th house though just like my sun

I think Mercury is very important because communication is such a big deal when dealing with people.

It’s what connects you at a basic level. If communication is very bad, it can be hard to over come it for the sake of the friendship and getting to know the person.

Mine is the same as my sun so I’m not sure that it matters. Since it’s in the same sign.

There are plenty of planets that shows more about a person than the Sun. I think what house the planet is placed in and the intercepting aspects that create the Tsquares, Grand Trines and Optimus Primes have even more meaning than the signs in the planets themselves. Therefore if I wanted to dive deeper into your Astro Soul, I'd ask those questions.

Maybe that’s true when your sun and mercury is in the same sign and it’s also your dominant element and sign.

Cause I have Pisces sun and mercury but am cap dom and dominant element earth by a mile. People irl usually don’t peg me as a Pisces. My sister is a Pisces as well and water dominant and she seems much more standard Pisces traits even though she doesn’t have mercury in water.

Gem has a cancer mercury and doesn’t talk like a baby Trump 😂 but honestly he is more cancer like in many ways with his behavior. Plus his Leo dom bits really speak loudly.

I’m sure house placements and aspects play a part too depending on the chart.

I actually see more Uranus influence in Trump’s speech than Cancer Mercury. Very abrupt. Impulsive. Knee-jerk reactions. Believes anyone who disagrees with him isn’t intelligent or is simply lying. Trump also has Uranus opposite Moon like me. Not the best at conveying thoughts with empathy. I think that aspect alone goes against his Cancer Mercury, given that the moon is the ruler of his mercury.

I have “kinda” toned downed saying “you’re a liar” to people that don’t agree with me. I simply tell people that they can have their opinion but I’m not changing mine. 😆

It's true that Mercury is quite relevant (has a saying - quite literally) - but i wouldn't put it like that (more important than the Sun). As the saying goes... "as above so below." We live in a solar system - which intrinsically - is intertwined with the rest of the universe. The Sun is obviously at the center... the core of the solar system (same way our Sun - is the core of our being... the light giver - if you will). While next in line is Mercury - both closest to the Sun and also the fastest (fastest at orbiting the Sun - cause in terms of spinning Jupiter wins by a long shot). Astrology links Mercury with the mind (alongside the Moon) - with the way we think and express ourselves (verbally). And that's just it - Mercury is the messenger. It's mainly Sun's messenger, but it can also be a messenger for the Moon, Venus, Mars and so on... In other words..."the Sun is the King". And it's also possible to communicate directly with the Sun/King - without Mercury (without the messenger - a nonverbal communication) - IF you can get close enough (if you can reach that type of closeness with someone - that you'll be able to understand one another without words). That's why... being able to pick-up someone thinking pasterns or the way the express themselves verbally - doesn't mean you know them. You just know what they're saying - but not who they are their core (and sometimes not even what they actually mean by that - cause the messenger and words - are not always an accurate representation of the self...).

Also, Donald Trump was clever (how else would he turn millions into billions - and become a Billionaire - even president of the U.S.). He's simply not calculated and well spoken... or wise - if you will. Clever people are not necessarily wise people. People like Trump - actually proved that wits are enough to become a President. Yet, even the title of President - does not make one a wise leader (despite of being the president of the largest modern empire - USA).
