What's wrong in knowing what you like and want? I don't get it.
You say people are superficial then you're the one saying that due her 'shortness' she shouldn't be allowed to date tall man...since when women liking men much taller than them - it may even be out of insecurity I won't deny it - has become something to be ashamed of?
Double standard.

Hi,
Might be offtopic, but I dont know where else to put that thread. This is a question to the ladies.
For some strange reason, all my friends tell me that I am too small (5 foot 10) I dont believe it, but to be
honest, they make me feel insecure, because they are persistent. They say, being tall makes the man manlier, many woman dont even look at people under 5 11. and my height is simply not enough. I always thought I am good, I am not small but not big either, medium height. Do you agree or is my initial feel right,
that this is garbage. What do you say.
Best regards,
Parkourler
I'm 5foot7 and proud of it. I'm taller than many woman and men in my city.

Height doesn't matter whatsoever. In fact all small men I know have hot looking women.
Also The shorter you are, the less cells you have to mutate, so you essentially live longer.

I am 6'4, taller than my siblings. I think it was all down to the swimming I had when I was in school and univ. I had 5'6 guy friends who were more confident than me lol specially in picking up girls. So I think height doesn't matter.

I also noticed myself, I use to leg lift 50 lbs.
Now I lift 25 lbs only.
It doesn't make you short but it stops the potential growth.

Many petite women are like that with the cuddling/protection? I'm sure not. I sometimes forget I'm small, then I'm reminded when I see myself in pictures with other people, or when I need to reach something on a high shelf, lol.
Thinking of petite women I've been friends with, they weren't/aren't like that either. They're all quite independent, but that makes sense given that they're my friends because I prefer that in people as a quality.
I had a 5'10 female friend who was waaaaaaaaaaaaay more affectionate/cuddly with men than me in public. She was quite independent too. She had Aqua Mars, as have a few of my closer friends, as a side-ish note.

I slightly rectify my previous post to explain myself better. I meant to say, that despite being drawn in theory to any kind of person, my awkwardness in showing public affection leads me to prefer and pick, on the whole, tall partner.
I still believe petite women - from what I observe in my country - are latently more touchy/in need of physical protection than women who are slightly taller, on average and assuming they both equally like the man. However, my observation was never to debate if they're less/more indipendent or their character in general - more aspects should be taken into account in such case - it was more to say, by knowing myself, that if the man isn't too cuddly it's better for the height gap of the couple not to be too extreme.
For instance I really enjoy her showing physical affection but I noticed that when she's too petite (20cm or more) I just don't feel good showing it in return, I'm the problem not her. Here's the scenario when the Aqua mars struggle the most - trust me on this, this placement works way differently for men - I know 3 people with my same exact chart as mine and they can all confirm. One in particular really struggles to even get a date as we don't have a 'classic' relationship mentality at all...
Any 'standard' way of interacting in public, and I'm saying this to my own detriment, within a couple is not for this mars. We're not visually hampered, actually we're quite distinguished on the streets, yet we behave too neutrally when people are around, to the point we become ambivalent. I'm not but I know I can come across as such.
Now if you're a 'normal' couple you're supposed to be recognized as a couple in public too and be proud of her/him in any scenario, not just in private. In my case when she's quite tall, despite the airy vibe I send off, that's the impression I give; whereas when she's too petite Aqua mars starts sensing the boundaries too strongly and it gets very awkward, to the point she would start growing uncomfortable too, leading our interaction not to be natural anymore.
It's not supposed to feel that way and it took me some time to find countermeasures, astrologically speaking and not, and realize how fucked up this is/was while growing up. I'm extremizing a bit, but there must be a reason no Aqua mars man ever speaks up in here? lol

For instance I realize Aqua venus, to me, is perfect because it just gets me and my vibe, so there's no awkwardness as I become a lot more expressive myself as a consequence of her understanding my energy to the core. I don't need to explain why I'm the way I am, even though I have no problem explaining it in theory, because she just gets me on an energetic level, which is awesome.
On the women side, I see many men getting weirded out by such Venus, it's quite manifest there's something 'off' with it, or simply something out of the ordinary. Some men, in front of such scenario, just run as far away as possible and surely can't be blamed for that, while on the contrary, I get turned on and even more interested, precisely because I realize is not ordinary on so many levels. They stand out and like that.
Scorpio somewhere is also good because it usually activates my Pluto while working aggressively on my Sun, it removes the airy aloofness. Another option would be an aggressive firey Mars challenging mine while 'raping' my moon - my favourite is Sag - even though Damnata is on a mission on my behalf to find me a Romanian partner with an Aries mars.
She says "trust me when you meet one, you'll know!", "ooh the body heat" lmao
In reference to 2Moon, I call bullshit when someone starts calling people superficial because they expressed their preference. I don't personally see anything wrong in petite women liking tall men and wanting one for them, because, regardless of their innate desire for protection they may have or not, those men are... well tall.
I don't get why, for the sake of political correctness, people get bashed for expressing their opinion/pov, and this goes for both genders.

Thanks for going into more detail! Whatever works best and most happily for you is what matters, so if taller women are a better fit for you, it's good that you know that.
That said, I wonder if in your country there's some kind of belief that compels many petite women to play a role, if you will, and/or you're anxious about having to take a protector type role? Some men like taking on that role too much (which puts me off, personally - makes me feel like I'm their child, not partner).
It probably helps that I, and the petite women I've been friends with, don't move or act in a small way that adds to a vibe of vulnerability - we kind of have to compensate for the fact that people may, at first, view us as "cute" thanks to our size. It also helps that I don't have a high voice, my voice is deeper than average for a woman - a contrast that I'm told is "unexpected" lol.
I was involved for 9 years with an Aqua Mars man. He's Sag sun, Cap moon and Virgo rising. I'm still friends with him. I was involved with another Aqua Mars man before that. The 9-year relationship man is 5'10, so average height in North America. That's almost 10 inches taller than me. I've tried to fit what you shared about your experience with Aqua Mars with his behaviour and preferences and I'll have to think about it some more. He has an awkwardness at times, but almost all men I've dated have - I like that, it can seem more natural to me, ironically, lol.
I have Libra Mars conjunct Uranus so this may help me get along better with some of the Aqua Mars people I've known.

Posted by PalerioAqua Venus definitely has a different kind of vibe, which can be cool. One of the most impactful relationships I was in was with a Pisces man with Virgo rising, Aries moon and Aqua Venus. Like me, he placed a great value on friendship being the most important foundation for any close relationship. He was on good terms with most of his exes, also like me, and that was refreshing.

I'm 5'4 I've dated men my height and shorter and I've dated men 5'5 to 6'4. I think 5'10 is a good height, personally perfect for me. I can still where heels and be shorter. 6'2 and above is a little bit too tall I wouldn't want to look like midget next to my SO (though I wouldn't mind dating) for me my goldilocks in height is anywhere within 5'10 to 6'1.

wow @Copperdove....you got involved with two aqua mars men? I remember you got involved with Libra sun men, and I think Gemini, but Aquarius sun men are so different. And especially with Aquarius mars on men.....
it really must be your Gemini moon and Libra mars. It probably "Completes" the AIR trine, if you lack aquarius in your chart. but you do have 11th house.
edit - i'm still kind of unclear about completing trines in chart. because it works just fine with having aquarius and the other person has aquarius and no other air (Gemini and libra) it probably just completes with houses.
as I've seen in plenty of couples.

I feel you, same here, having preferences and valueing certain body feats doesn`t make you terrible or superstitious. The f@cks too. I decided the woman of my life MUST have huge knockers. I used to shame myself for that called myself a shallow sexist, but thats me thats what I want, that is what is what makes me happy. You woman dont age as good as we man, so you gotta at least must have big knockers if you get older.
