I had forgotten about this, they sell it on the side walks there. I also have had uno's pizza it is very good . we have no pizza here , they call it pizza but it sucks. Best I ever had was at emo's in St Louis. God I lov that pizza.
Yeah James!!!!!
I KNOW what you are saying...oh my goodness, yes that is the BEST pizza! Hey James, have you ever eaten on the "Hill" in St. Louis? Toasted Ravioli—?
I'm with NY pizza all the way, infact the only thing I miss about back home is the pizza place. The pizza here is good, but they don't know you're supposed to have eggplant as a topping, and I feel bad for everyone who goes through life not knowing what a garlic knot is...
I ate toasted ravioli, at a place called canetos spelled wrong I am sure, Old jake and I went there. you wate at the bar forever to get a table. most of the food they had was pasta. I also ate at a place called gracie delly? the man named jerry owned it and jake said he made the sauces for all the fancy places. I liked St Louis it was different it was like a big city but it was also like a town I do not know how to exsplain it. I will go to see me mate jake one day.
James,
Let me know when you go to St. Louis...I will meet you there! Yes, it is different...very unique. It is also known as the, "Show Me" state.
I've been to St. Louis a few times. I know what you mean James about it being like both a big city and small town.
Morgan, you sound like my sister, she likes all the weird toppings. lol I pretty much just stick to Pepperoni and Italian sausage.
I don't do the meat thing... You know what's good? Hawaiian pizza.... Pinapple and ham topping... mmmmm. . .
A big deal here for xmas and new years is pinapple and cheese on a toothpick a sharp cheader. Yes I will meet you in St Louis some day freebird.
Yipee 🙂 I so look forward to meeting you and exploring the Riverfront....ever been to Bogart's?
no never heard of it, name after the movie star I guess?
mmmmmm pizza.....
me want now
all of you stay out of st louis its the best keep secert in the u,s. I live here been here on and off for 60 years, O'Connels pub best hamberger? or is it tom's bar and grill? I live in the west end.
I've never had chicago- style pizza (what is it?)...I'm not a fan of the New York style because it's that super thin crust, and I like a fluffy crust, which...Pizza Hut makes fantabulously. 🙂
pizza hut sucks. we have better pizza than pizza hut.
Well, until I've tried your pizza, I like Pizza Hut the best. lol
Phoenix, Chicago style is pretty much the exact opposite of NY style , really thick, lots of cheese. You can't eat it by hand it has to be eaten with a knife and a fork. Pizza Hut used to do one, but it was limited time, which what I hate about Pizza Hut, their best pizzas are always limited time.
Thank you Laz!! I was very curious about this Chicago stuff. It sounds like I would like *it*, more so than the New York style . Mmmm...thick cheesy goodness... 🙂
Yes but one good staple at Pizza Hut is the oh-so-fattening but oh-so-delicious Pan style pizza. Meow...
I don't like pizza hut, they don't have real pizza. Pizza Hut pizza tastes like it should come from a can.
I bet it does...you live (or used to..) in the pizze capital of the world, so I have no doubt you "know good pizza" better than I do. 😛 Actually....is Italy the pizza capital of the world?? Wow....maybe I should just eat food and not talk about it....
er..."Pizza" not pizze...
LOL. . . Actually no it's not, ironically enough Italy doesn't have real pizza. 😛
There's a place in Stoughton, MA, called Town Spa pizza that has really yummy pizza. . . The only thing is that people don't make it, it's all done by a pizza making machine. As much as I like the pizza there, I just have to say that I can't appreciate it as much, because there's no actual human skill involved, only done by machines. Oh well. . .
It's IMO'S not EMO'S you dunce.
It does come from a can. the cheess comes from a can, the tomato paste comes from a can, the crust comes from ?
Who said EMO's...what's "EMO'S" and what's "IMO's"? I'm not seeing it.
I still like Pizza Hut...even if it does all come from a can. 🙂
That's weird about Italy, btw. lol. Or I should say..."interesting".
I must admit that I *do* enjoy seeing the pizza people flipping the dough around, smackin' the sauce on there and all of that. We *sort of* have places like that here...but for some reason I like the taste of the friggin' CORPORATE PIZZA MACHINE (ahem, Pizza Hut) better. I'm so weird.
i'd say new york defintelty.
NEW YORK~~ the best pizza and bagels, no questions asked.
Chicago born, Chicago style . Failing that Italian all the way 😛
NY
Gotta be Chicago! Hands down! Or Up if you're eating...
Ginos
Home Runn Inn
Giordano's
I'll take both because I'm greedy...
Lou Malanati's and Uno's is where it's at, Chicago style any day.
Uno's pizza.
I'm from St. Louis! I like here though most ppl that live here hate it.. as far as pizza is concerned.. yes please! lol I'm not picky.
Chicago style pizza is the best. The best pizza place in Chicago is Medici's in Hyde Park. I always wanted to take my boyfriend there.
Theres nothing like the pizza they make in Brooklyn.
NY hands down.
Chi town wins, even though im an NY native the chi holds down the deep dish which is my fav. 'nough said
don't know the diff between the two of them but im all for pizza i love it!!! 🙂🙂🙂 😛😛😛😛

Which do you all like better?
I'm pretty neutral on them. We used to have a nearby pizza place called Vito's that made New York style pizza and it was the best damn pizza I have ever had, too bad it isn't here anymore. I have also had Uno's pizza which is a well known Chicago style pizza restaurant it's excellent as well.
