This new religion - could be the answer we've all been waiting for (peace on earth and such... ^^). Even the coops seem friendlier (or maybe it's because they're from a different State):

"Playing Pokemon Go! With my wife at the Capitol building (Lansing MI) when a state police officer pulls up and says to me "Hey! Come here." I thought maybe I had been trespassing or something when he asks "what team are you?" (Instinct btw)"

"And proceeds to help me take over the gym!"

Reminds of religious meetings... This could the beginning of a new religion! 😄

It truly is a great gift imo. I've spent more time around churches, memorials, and random strangers around my town the last 3 weeks then pretty much my whole life.

At first everyone was all antisocial and weird around each other. Now everyone is being kind, helping others, giving advice, and being competitive.

When humans isolate for so long they forget how to deal with other humans, which is sad because we need actual socal experience to stay mentally healthy and happy. I've developed a new found love for fellow humans, my town, and my country.

This is literally the most positive thing to hit the earth since decent medicine imo, and I know some won't understand or relate to the players. That's complelty fine and understandable, and doesn't change my opinion whatsoever.

It's almost a routine for me now. I'd play it to and from work. Haven't really ventured out specifically for pokemons.

If anything just where I live and where I work and commute is pretty conveniently located. There's a few hard to get to gyms that's a short walk from where I get cigarettes sometimes. I'd park my pokemons there and collect coins + dust.

To and from work I can use an egg + lure, catch all the things and pokestops on the train. Once I hit the city I walk to Hyde Park and there's always around 20+ pokemons there. I just have to leave earlier or go home later.

Met some lovely people so far. There was a kid showing an old lady how to battle a gym. Believe it or not I actually scored a pokemon coffee date.

Other than that no, I'm still not glued to my phone and never will be. I've actually banned people from checking pokemon go at work haha.

It seems to be a lot like a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Play Game), one - that's played in the real world. For those who were wondering - what do people see in games like World of Warcraft (this is probbaly - the most famous title) - this game might explain it (the feeling, the drive and what people gain from this type of games). The big difference though - WoW keeps people inside (cause you need a computer to play it - since the action takes place in a virtual world) - while Pokemon GO brings them outside (that's where the playground it).

Pokemon Go is just the beginning. There's also a MMOFPS in production:
