Today, I just noticed that several games went on sale. 😄 8te>

There are some really good deals, up to -85% on some games, better than the previous sale![]()

Lol wtf! Was that Fus Ro Dah beer? This on steam I'm guessing?

A screenshot from yesterday's session of Zelda: BOTW. This was just before I went shield surfing for the first time.![]()
Been exploring Hebra for quite a while now. 15 hearts later, in the game and I've only done one Divine Beast so far, but I've slain quite a few monsters and Lynels being my favourite as I find them to be the most challenging. I have a feeling there's another Lynel close to area of Hebra where I am now, but I've stocked up on bomb arrows and guardian weapons.

Rofl Savage, let your Sag shine boy.
I do feel bad for fallout fans tho. I was so disappointed when Bethesda revealed ESO instead of an actual elder scrolls game.
To be completly honest I don't feel even one ounce of sympathy for people who bought it. I mean yeah I didn't expect it to be THAT bad every sensible Fallout fan knew where the shit train was heading after Fallout 4.
The thing is though that Fallout 76 actually makes me want to reinstall Fallout 4 thinking "hey it wasn't that bad, was it?".
In short: Fallout 76 makes the impossible possible. It makes Fallout 4 look decent.
Urgh, my Mars catches fire on this topic.
Edit: I still hope we get an ES that is on the same level as Morrowind.click to expand

Well even if you're sensible, to receive a product like that, is surreal. I have no attachment to the fallout series (I just bought 4 on super sale lol) but from what I can see, it's not just a game fans don't like but just a barely functioning game. I've heard so many people say they're game is constantly glitching and they're getting booted off servers. That's just wrong.
Lol that's good, I like the passion!🔥
If the backlash of 76 sets them straight then it'll be amazing. If not...idk. I was excited at the teaser look but now I'm worried.
The game as a product is an insult, yes, but that's something that can and most likely will get fixed over time.
Design and story decisions however are extremely unlikely to ever get changed since most people thought Fallout 4 was actually great.
I mean it can be argued that they fixed some of Fallout 4's problems. I some sense at least....![]()
I mean, just look at this one point from Obsidians take on Fallout and you'll see how far and worlds apart those two are in terms of story writting and design of story.
That's a level of depth you never see in Bethesdas games. Morrowind was probably the last one with a good story.
So even if they fix the technical stuff it's more likely than not to be a poorly designed game overall. At least from a RP perspective. Sure, if the backlash and the lawsuit are successfull enough they might wake up at some point but I doubt that this wake up call will extend to the RP parts of their games, and yes sadly would include the next Elder Scrolls installment.

I agree with everything you said but I just want to say later fixes should not be expected. I'm tired of Bethesda thinking it's ok to release a game so broken at $ 60 retail price. Beta? Sure fine. Heavily reduced price? Acceptable. I just can't believe nobody stopped and said let's hold back the launch date.
From what I've heard it's like a watered down fallout 4 but with the same glitches and ofc engine (surprise, surprise)
Lack of depth and genuine charm is imo their greatest weaknessin their games. Again besides the lazy unfinished technical stuff. I did enjoy both Skyrim and Oblivion's stories but there were mainquests that felt lackluster a lot of the times.
Sometimes I think instead of making 76 an entertaining game they were trying to give players a realistic take of how it would feel if you were actually in the story. Stuck in a boring, wasteland with no purpose and almost zero human interaction for large distances. Or maybe the game itself is like a vault experiment on the players lol
If they don't change and their next two games flop I honestly don't see how they can continue as a company. You would think that would give them some concern. I really don't want to see that happen, especially to ESVI.
Edit: well apparently they've decided on a new engine for ESVI. That doesn't mean it will fix all the issues but it's a step in the right direction. Maybe there's hope yet!
I think it was confirmed that both Starfield and ES6 will use the same current engine.click to expand

Fuuuckk yeeesss. After two years X-COM 2 has a reasonably priced sales bundle.
This might be my first christmas game in 7 years or so. Meaning that I will be doing nothing but going to the gym, reading weird sciences books and purging filthy Xenos over the holidays.
Main game:
War of the Chosen addon:
A little gameplay trailer for those who are heretics and don't know what kind of game X-COM is:
Edit: Fuck, 65gb download. :/

I've been playing Smash Ultimate, I love it soooo much! But I need to buy a different controller, one with a wire connect option since there seems to be a small lag issue with the wireless controllers.
Also got WoW to play on my new gaming laptop, which I adore but I think I want a proper gaming mouse for it.
These ones are supposed to be good:
