Oh dang I’m signing up for this

Just broke my fav candle holder n instead of throwing it I’m gluing it back

Her only rule really is "does this item spark joy?" if so keep. If not, thank the item and donate/trash. So keep the candle holder!!!

She's very gentle in her approach. Some of these people are borderline hoarders and she's able to get through to them. Pretty incredible!

I can tell you, you still have way too many clothes

lol and this is just whats hanging in my closet. I also have a 9 drawer dresser full of shirts, sweaters, jeans, etc. Plus whatevers in the hamper

I have already filled up a bag of clothes to donate.

Don't hate on me cc. I gotta look good at work to convince people I know what the hell I'm talking about despite my age...

Plus I have a nordrack app shopping addiction.

I wear the same few colors. Blues, greys, tans, pinks, black and white. I'm boring like that.

So I found some of her folding/organization tips helpful...but I’m really not all there for her “does this item spark joy” approach

Like my toothbrush does not spark joy...but I clearly need it...

More towards items of sentiment.

Like with your clothes there’s things you reach for first.

And then there’s the stuff you wear cause nothing else is clean 😂😂

It's funny how she sounds like my mother who likes to keep items at home. Every single items!

She made me grow to be one of those minimalist people due to our never-ending argument.

She's a pisces. She likes to keep things in places.

Whereas me?

I like to present them to people 🙂

i only keep things that i consider to be 'my weapons' a.k.a beneficial for my future moves.

As in, "Things come handy."

^ Says the bitter misandronist...

Being organised and not encouraging clutter is pretty much common sense. Does anyone (male or female) really need to buy a book about it? Do you need a book (or fad) to encourage you to be brutally honest about your hoarding habit, when people in your personal life have probably been telling you the same thing for years? I mean, seriously!

Instead of being a radical hypocrite, maybe you (and others here) should employ a combination of self-awareness and common sense (which, btw, genderless). What Marie Kondo is peddling is nothing new or revolutionary - minimalism has been around for centuries...

But you should've said that to Marie Kondo, not ruminating here under LadyNeptune's umbrella of excitements, okay.

Xcept the scales. They must remain clean 😜

Where are the scales at, btw? Who use 'em?

The first episode annoyed me with that useless woman wanting to hire a cleaner. She just seemed whiny and useless and not wife material.

Lol

Who doesn't want to get spoiled?

Ppl who value their own efforts in making their life easy.

Sorry, I can’t respect a lazy and entitled princess.

She stays home!! What else is there

Yet she can’t clean?

Lazy bish

She has 2 babies.

Yes she could’ve and does by the end do better.

But lazy? That’s a bit far.

It’s easy to judge when you haven’t lived that life.

Well, what happens if the person is busy outside or she simply am not interested in home work?

It would've been easier to hire a maid so that she could focus on other business' she takes care of from the outside a.k.a jobs.

Unless she manages time very well, of course..

You don’t have to like to clean, to clean.

You have to clean to keep your life in order.

Look at someone’s living space and see where they’re at in their headspace.

I see cleaning as evidence I respect myself and my roommates/spouse/family.

You let your kids live in a messy way, how are they going to value the things they’re given?

It’s deeper than doing the dishes.

This is why ppl reject their possessions and go minimalist.

It’s easy to purge and start over with space.

Exactly, as long as there are not many people living in a space (for example, living room) it will be easy to clean.

More people, more mess 😅
