Aside from the fact I personally did this in the past to troll people, some people are less malicious about it. Either they didn't realize they could delete their account and simply wanted a new one, or on the other hand some want to give the impression they are someone else due to personal transformation. It's the same aspect of people eho do follow the rules and delete, but make a new account every other month. They just want to feel like its something new again.
Personally I have no hard felling towards those who make multiple accounts in a non malicious way. It's those who do it to troll people like I did. Manipulating the like feature and making people feel like others are against them when really its just one person is pretty immature and twisted lol.

As of a couple months ago, if you follow the rules and delete your account and then create a new account using the same email address you used before, you get a red "multiple accounts" badge, as I have. I've complained about it and mentioned it ad nauseum, but apparently it's not going to change.

I find this really odd. Maybe a glitch? I'm assuming if it honestly happened to you, it must be true, but thats not how the dxpnet programming works, or is supposed to work.
The second you delete your account, that email related to the account is still considered in use. Therefore you would have to make a whole new email to have a new account. Like my first dxpnet account was Darkfire. I deleted it and made soul, but if I ever attempted to use the same email as the one for Darkfire it would say it's already in use, regardless of the fact I deleted the account.

I'll be 100% honest when I first joined a guy called DJ, and still around CC were my my main influence. Astrology brought me here in the first place, but as I creeped the sight DJ and CC always caught my eye. Just the way they would get people into an uproar was inspirational to me in my late teens, and early 20's. I thought it was funny af, so when I joined thats what I thought was the meta for the site. Eventually I got to the point where I would do what ever was needed to truly fuck with a person's mind. Manipulating multipul accounts was an extra bonus to normal fighting with people on the forums. I got got banned many times, and each time it was a longer suspension. I realized that eventually they would simply ban my account permanently. As I got older and matured a bit I stopped going that far out of my way to fight with people. I just keep it in then open and public, and even when I say something stupid I refuse to hide the post. I feel like it should be in the open for everyone to see, and that everyone should honestly be able see exactly who its coming from. Its only fair.

Like I mentioned I didn't use these accounts regularly, which made it pretty obvious. I only used them to manipulate the like feature to make others think a ton of people were against them, or to have them facing 3 quotes at once which seemed like many people attacking their opinion all at once.

I don't necessarily want to see someone fail. Naturally I want to see people succeed and become better. But failing is still apart of a persons development. I can't help but to admit I like a story with a happy ending just as much as a twisted unfortunate one. In the end it was their choice the whole time.

I’m an extrovert with a dash of introversion...lol. And I can relate to you in an extroverted sort of way. I have a theory that forums and other SM platforms tend to be breeding grounds for introverts to thrive and explore their inner them, but might not be so exciting or as important for an extrovert. 🤷🏻♀️
But... the way I relate to you is that while I don’t really understand the “troll” craze... I too would bully on other bullies. If I saw someone picking on another person and that person had a hard time defending themselves, I would always step in and bully the crap out of other bullies... not sure where I get the courage, but in those moments, I forget my sex, size and ability.... I just go for the kill.

It's kind of funny because the people I first trolled was CC and DJ, the two people that influenced me to join in the first place. I can't honestly say anything bad about CC today though. Now that I know her a little better I honestly think she is a very attractive woman and has come a long way in the last 10 years. She is still one of my favorites, but in a positive way. Other then that I would just troll people who went out of their way to manipulate others and thought they were indestructible. In a sense I honestly had an internet warrior complex, where I felt I was the only one willing to go the extra mile to make other insecure internet trolls feel as uncomfortable as possible. Truth be told they likely came from a similar mindset that I did. I also use to have an extreme sensitivity towards my own personal opinions, so the second people would try to make me feel like a lesser human due to my opinion I wanted to get back at them 10 times worse. Its still kind of like that now, just not as much as an extreme. Which at the time trolling with multiple accounts was an easy method to get back at people. I realize now some of my opinions were really stupid, and extreamly one sided. At times I would attack people just because they didn't agree with me, and looking back at some of the stuff I said I honestly don't agree with myself either. It was just a really strange and confusing time for me, and my actions are a perfect example of that.

Getting banned for 5 months helped lol. Also living on my own for once made me focus on things that were more important. Going through the effort of making accounts, then trolling people doesn't really do anything in the long run. Also being watched really hard by the site makes it less fun. One might get a sense of superiority or control for the moment, but it doesn't even last or amount to anything. People trolling with multiple accounts kind of cheated to even get those meaningless feelings in the first place.

I'll be 100% honest when I first joined a guy called DJ, and still around CC were my my main influence. Astrology brought me here in the first place, but as I creeped the sight DJ and CC always caught my eye. Just the way they would get people into an uproar was inspirational to me in my late teens, and early 20's. I thought it was funny af, so when I joined thats what I thought was the meta for the site. Eventually I got to the point where I would do what ever was needed to truly fuck with a person's mind. Manipulating multipul accounts was an extra bonus to normal fighting with people on the forums. I got got banned many times, and each time it was a longer suspension. I realized that eventually they would simply ban my account permanently. As I got older and matured a bit I stopped going that far out of my way to fight with people. I just keep it in then open and public, and even when I say something stupid I refuse to hide the post. I feel like it should be in the open for everyone to see, and that everyone should honestly be able see exactly who its coming from. Its only fair.

I'm very introverted, with a dash of extrovert. I had a bunch of accounts, but these accounts are the ones I mainly used. Most honestly wont know them. I only used them for specific reasons. Mainly to attack other trolls, or people who would attacke me on the forums back then I had Swift, Draconic, Squitchy, SilentSmiles, Tempus, Tms2190, Eleven57, and a few more I forget the full account name of.
Like I mentioned I didn't use these accounts regularly, which made it pretty obvious. I only used them to manipulate the like feature to make others think a ton of people were against them, or to have them facing 3 quotes at once which seemed like many people attacking their opinion all at once.

I’m an extrovert with a dash of introversion...lol. And I can relate to you in an extroverted sort of way. I have a theory that forums and other SM platforms tend to be breeding grounds for introverts to thrive and explore their inner them, but might not be so exciting or as important for an extrovert. 🤷🏻♀️
But... the way I relate to you is that while I don’t really understand the “troll” craze... I too would bully on other bullies. If I saw someone picking on another person and that person had a hard time defending themselves, I would always step in and bully the crap out of other bullies... not sure where I get the courage, but in those moments, I forget my sex, size and ability.... I just go for the kill.

It's kind of funny because the people I first trolled was CC and DJ, the two people that influenced me to join in the first place. I can't honestly say anything bad about CC today though. Now that I know her a little better I honestly think she is a very attractive woman and has come a long way in the last 10 years. She is still one of my favorites, but in a positive way. Other then that I would just troll people who went out of their way to manipulate others and thought they were indestructible. In a sense I honestly had an internet warrior complex, where I felt I was the only one willing to go the extra mile to make other insecure internet trolls feel as uncomfortable as possible. Truth be told they likely came from a similar mindset that I did. I also use to have an extreme sensitivity towards my own personal opinions, so the second people would try to make me feel like a lesser human due to my opinion I wanted to get back at them 10 times worse. Its still kind of like that now, just not as much as an extreme. Which at the time trolling with multiple accounts was an easy method to get back at people. I realize now some of my opinions were really stupid, and extreamly one sided. At times I would attack people just because they didn't agree with me, and looking back at some of the stuff I said I honestly don't agree with myself either. It was just a really strange and confusing time for me, and my actions are a perfect example of that.

Getting banned for 5 months helped lol. Also living on my own for once made me focus on things that were more important. Going through the effort of making accounts, then trolling people doesn't really do anything in the long run. Also being watched really hard by the site makes it less fun. One might get a sense of superiority or control for the moment, but it doesn't even last or amount to anything. People trolling with multiple accounts kind of cheated to even get those meaningless feelings in the first place.

Nope. No one says anything. The login screen tells you your banned, why your banned, and that you will be banned till further notice. There is no indication of how long. You will just go to login one day and it will work lol.

What's your opinion on the origin of the multiple badges thing? Has it always been there if you hit a certain number of repeats or is it a new thing? I honestly had no clue I was breaking any rules.

IMO..
It's connected to an IP address.
To get around it, you just have to create an account with a device different from your other account (i.e. Home computer vs work computer). Or basically anywhere that uses a different router/ISP.
Or you can use a VPN.
I'm pretty sure it's not connected to email addresses.
Ps.. I'm not saying that everyone with the "Multiple Accounts" badge is a troll/sock puppet account. Simply that a lot of trolls are dumb enough to get caught trying to be sneaky.

I honestly feel like the site runs itself on pure algorithm nowadays. I think that huge dxpnet crash awhile back was the system being implemented.
