i think we have more lovers than haters...the ones that hate us only hate us because they're jealous and the ones that love us, love us because we're so damn fun to be around and our personalities are amazing..

first of all I always here it's either virgo's or scorpios as an overall hatred.I hardly ever hear leo's are the most hated.And if we are so what alot of people don't like something about every sign.I know I do!!!!Leo's are fabulous and alot of my friends copy my style and and want to be like me so please!!!!!

I don't hate Leos. I don't hate them at all. I get annoyed at my cousin because he dicks girls around and constantly breaks their hearts after I told him what would happen. He never listens.

But I still love him.

Leo women are awesome. All the Leo ladies I know in real life are great, great people who I am pleased to count among my friends.

Yeah,im going with scorps for the most hated but that because its ALWAYS in my face when readin astrology descriptions about my starsign.Whenever reading leo stuff the astrologers seems to lighten up alot and focus on the positive stuff,normally only ego or whatever other little flaws will be mentioned.With scorps its mostly negative with only a few positives in it:possesive,jealous,maniplutive,can't be trusted when they do something nice for you,cruel,etc. but hey scorps are loyal so long as you let them control you is normally how it goes with astrology lol.

I only know a couple of Leo Ladies in real life and I don't find them shallow or materialistic at all. They are always warm and gracious, very complimentary.

I just don't judge a zodiac sign as a whole. There's exceptional people as well as scumbags in all signs.

I think its the most underrated signs that gets hated on the most. think Libra and Gemini perhaps? and possibly Virgo.

I generally feel people are indifferent towards leos, like ppl have a hard time taking us seriously. God knows ain't no one ever talking about the inner lives of lions, it's all just written off as ego or 'compensating'. We're basically cartoon characters lol

I wouldn't say Scorpios are hated, they just come with a warning label generally in most write ups. Capricorns are either said to be too materialistic or cold (or boring), which isn't true for the ones I've become friends with over the years. I do make it a point to avoid Capricorn women though. They always come across as too opportunistic for me.

Geminis also get a LOT of heat for being flighty and two-faced. I love/respect Gemini women, but I probably would never date one. I feel as if I'm too grounded for them or something.

For Leos we are definitely very misunderstood. We can be treated like the comedic relief or the stereotypical jock for a good reason. Let's be honest we shy way from emotional pain and choose to exude as much confidence (or arrogance) as possible. We generally have strong personalities as a result. Leos can be loud, brash, and hard to deal with on daily basis to some. We can be both domineering and demanding to others. So we can be exhausting to others.

We ourselves approach the world with such an extroverted black or white mentality that we inherit and accept this mindset willingly. What we do with this duty though is another story. We aren't meant to be entirely relatable. We are the showmen (or show-offs) of the zodiac for a reason. We are meant to be observed. So as a result, we play our part (some better than others). Maybe that part is a leader, a teacher, a pompous idiot, a celebrity, a drama king/queen, etc. Whatever the role is, we are meant to be either loved or hated. Why is this though? Well here are a few theories:

1) Our traits aren't readily discernible on paper. Think about our positive and negative traits. Generosity, bravery, amiable, loyal, stubborn, arrogant, jealous, and the list goes on and on. Every zodiac sign has the same traits. Why? Our sun sign's planet is the SUN. It is believed that every planet in the solar system formed from the same debris that was created when the sun itself formed. The sun's gravitational field slowly pulled the debris inward. As it did so the debris formed larger masses that then also created their own gravitational pulls respectively, forming into the rest of our solar system.

Just like the sun we are warm and have the ability to pull everyone together (one way or the other). Maybe people love us, maybe they love to hate us. Whatever works.

2) The only trait we seem to have that is solely our own is our Ego. The Leo Ego, our pride is the FIRST thing anyone will bring up when describing us. Well we are proud, the Ego is a very misunderstood part of a Leo. The word ego already holds a negative connotation of selfishness and self-absorption. Interestingly enough we are also said to be one of the more generous signs in the zodiac well. Our ego though is the source of our extremes, of both our power and our weakness. As a result it's easy to pinpoint what's "wrong" with a Leo. On paper it's easy to sum up what we are in one word.

3) Not to inflate all of our collective Egos, but we are treated the way most comic book readers treat the character of Superman. While we are meant to lead by example, we are disregarded as being shallow and lacking any real depth. In the same way Superman is is often said to be boring because he has too many powers and no real character development. Superman is Superman, that's about it for most people. When other signs describe Leos, it's always the same few repetitive details. Leos are Leos. What else is there to know? PLENTY!

Leos are more like Iron-Man, or specifically the character Tony Stark. Tony has money, intelligence, and the ability to do whatever he wants. On the surface he's an arrogant, self-centered jerk with a massive ego. He also gives away millions to charity and saves the planet on multiple occasions. He works on clean energy projects to make the world a better place. He's brilliant, but the problem is he KNOWS it. He isn't ashamed to let the world know that he's brilliant either. All of this is of course covering up his own personal insecurities. Iron Man is also a recovering alcoholic, having indulged a bit too much. His battles are more internal, but because of his overall extroverted demeanor he still seems larger than life.

My mother once said (prior to him winning the Oscar) that she understood why Leonardo DiCaprio never won an Oscar (Academy Award politics aside). She said that Leo (who is not actually a Leo) chose to portray characters that were all larger than life and therefore not emotionally relatable. She liked his movies, but never connected with his characters. Maybe the character was too skilled, too rich, too charismatic, whatever it was, she never felt the need to connect to him. If she did feel something it was for the other characters in the story. I always thought that was interesting.

4) There is a theory that apparently Leos have 3 levels of evolution(yes, we are like Pokemon). The levels are Cub, Lion, and Sphinx. I believe that Leos are often only described with Cub or Lion traits. A Leo doesn't evolve with age, but by gaining overall wisdom.

Anyway, I didn't mean for this to be an essay, but I've had thoughts about this topic for a long time. I feel that as much as most people think they have us pegged, it's definitely not the case. We come in all shapes and sizes.
