Usually when I'm hurt or mad and its in connection with someone mistreating me in some way, I feel better when I think about how Karma works. I rest easily knowing that one day the mistreatment will come full circle. The icing on the cake is if I am privy to witness or hear about the Karma. I really hate that I have this little evil side to me but hey I'm human.

Now, if Im hurt or mad as a result of my own actions then what makes me feel better, is overcoming it. I am so hard on myself, I tend suffer for a long time in trying to forgive myself for the choices that led to the pain.
