So I met this Aries man on a dating website.. Our first conversation went amazingly well. He was enthusiastic, witty, very talkative.. Things that are a must with me. We decided to meet a few days later. All's I can say is instant attraction the second we made eye contact which hasn't happened to me in such a long time. The date went really well, couldn't keep our eyes off of each other! He tried to kiss me at the end of the date, but I did not let him, just let him kiss me on the cheek. He must've liked this because 10 minutes after I left he was texting me telling me how shocked he was that I dodged his kiss and that's never happened to him before and he's really interested in me. Anyway, we chatted for a few days then had a second date which went really, really well. We kissed and all I can say is WOW. He was probably one of the most passionate kissers I've ever had.. Needless to say this man's been on my mind like crazy ever since..

Now the confusing part, when we first started chatting I did not seem overly eager, was playfully flirty but not over the top (sorta teasing), did not text him much. He's done most of the chasing.. Now that I'm starting to show that I'm interested in him he's completely backed off and I'm sooo confused! I mean I'm not like constantly in his texts, but I have told him that I can't wait to see him again.. He never responded to that.. so I never texted back.. 2 days go by and he texts me out of the blue seeing how I was doing.. I texted back but that I was okay and he never responded..Is this typical freaking behavior of an Aries? Are they the type that really enjoy a challenge or prefer women that show hardly any interest? I'm usually the type of person that refuses to chase but there is SOMETHING about this man that keeps me thinking!!

Oh man,this thread reminds me so much of my experience several years ago. First year university, this Aries and I had an explosive encounter from the very moment we began talking. At the beginning, it had that same cat-and-mouse dynamic that you find yourself in right now (not caring enough to chase the man, then chasing and being unacknowledged). After that phase, and believe me, this is typically just a phase, we grew into a very passionate affair--not of the adulterous variety, but I refrain from using the word 'relationship' because it wasn't that.

As individuals who genuinely liked to talk for the sake of talking, we both also shared a similar affinity for arguing for the sake of arguing (a trait that I didn't know I possessed until he drew it out of me). As often as we were steamily lusting after one another, we were tearing each other's head's off as well.

What it boiled down to was something I never imagined could obstruct a relationship from developing; there was simply TOO MUCH passion. That same fire that incited that magnetism between us worked the other way to just as intensely push us apart when were mad or upset with the other--which was often!

Aries men do like to chase and have a challenge, so if you are interested, I would play it coy and mysterious, without letting into him quite yet. Once/if things develop past that, be prepared for that passion to work both for and against you. Of course, every person is an individual with different needs and characteristics, but from what I've been involved with and witnessed between other relationships, the Aries/Libra pairing brings drama (both good and bad).

I hope everything works out for you!

I've dated an Aries man once.....ONCE. He was fun, lively and adventurous and we had a GREAT time when we were together. The same traits that attracted me to him is what eventually turned me off too. I like to socialize with both males and females and if I did not give him a run down of my schedule.......look out! He became extremely possessive and tried to micromanage my life.

Don't get me wrong, I adored his passion and he was very protective and I loved that about him, but eventually it came to a head and even though I communicated to him what I wanted/needed.....it went in one ear and out the other. He also liked to argue (I don't) and he needed LOTS of attention. Too much drama for me. But not all Aries men are like this. I have a few Aries friends and they are the more "tame" ones.

Fancy bumping into and meeting my daughters exs father!!! Anyway he tells me how he has taught his son this!! And the little shit tries it out on MY GIRL and says to him dad it works!!!

But yesy dealings with an Aries is they have very limited attention span... But can be full on from the beginning!

@dofacc,

I have seen this quality/trait in several of my Aries friends. Some of them just "butt" their way into another persons life without any regard to another persons feelings, or respect how another person chooses to live their life. I'm not quite sure what you mean by a "good Aries". I believe they have good intentions though.

Bingo! Except the last sentence. The good intentions is only for their own benefit.
