How do you feel when your man brings up the past? Is it a "need to know basis" or don't you give it much thought? Mine is always talking about how bad women have been to him, cheaters etc. We all have a past, and mine is no better. .I just feel no need to share the details with anyone new! Thoughts?

In the past I've wanted to know EVERYTHING. I dont think its healthy. In the future, leave my ass in the dark about it.

It Will always depend on how he speaks of each person. Typically it doesn't bother me because they are the past unless I feel that there is still some attachment.

Yeah, I mean there's some things you should know about a person's past. I'm trying to find the right way to say that I'm not interested in the who/why/when/how many without coming across as jealous or insecure. I've had a LOT of men, so I ain't opening that can of worms.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to say nothing. Unless I get an emotional connection to the past vibe.

But why?!!!!! How can you want to know about your guy being in love/being loved by other people? And knowing about their sexual shenanigans...I have zero interest!

P.s, I'm only care that she's less attractive and worse in bed, wahaha! !!!

Plus. I would think that he holds grudges and has unresolved triggers.

i don't mind it. i want to know everything about my partner - the good, the bad, how he felt at the time. those events are the things shaped him.

and i want him to feel like he can be completely open and honest with me without any ramifications. there is nothing he can't say to me.

If it pertains to me, it’s my business. If it doesn’t, it’s not. Meaning to say, if something comes up in random conversation, it’s probably relevant. I’m not one to believe we should go asking questions for the hell of it.
