I did at first, but then i decided i would unblock her, delete my other post, and just write her asking her to chill. Which i did. But right after i wrote her, she made this thread and i flipped. Not by best move to let her get under my skin but oh well.

And there is a difference between criticism and being down right rude. You can give criticism without calling a person out of their name, and you can check your delivery. When pushed to a certain point, everyone can have a childish moment whether it's on here, or in real life. People's self esteem seems dependant on who likes them on this website and who doesn't.

I agree a little venting is therapeutic, but eventually it only exacerbates the original negative emotion (anger/offense, hurt feelings, etc.) spurring the venting in the first place.
Anybody here is free to dislike what I post (and many do.) I honestly don't wish to offend or hurt anyone, but at the end of the day, it doesn't significantly impact my life if John Doe feels I didn't word a comment in the most sensitive or respectful fashion and wants to e-duel or insult me about it.
If John Doe wants me to care, he'd better be either related to me, signing my paycheck, assigning me grades, or bedding me (and doing a fabulous job of it.) If he's none of the above, well, I'm sorry to have offended him, but ... *spreads hands, raises brows* ... C'est la vie, can't please everybody.

On the other post i had up, i warned her that i was trying not to go off, and i'd appreciate if she would just keep off my post if she didn't know how to give advice without being rude and calling me names. But then i felt i'd just message her and say it, which i did. Then she made the post and that's when i went off. I already said it was a laps in character but hell i was pissed off so i went off. I dont feel embarrassed and i did what i felt, i could careless how people felt at the time. It could've stayed between me and her as far as i was concered she was the one that decided to post it and go public with it. So i went there.
