Do mirrors hold spirits?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw.... CERN has misproven any single piece of this, sadly enough...

But look at it on the bright side, reincarnation is real: when you're dead (and hopefully get burried instead of being turned into a useless piece of ash) the world feasts upon your body and all of the atoms your body releases get absorbed by other things (animate or inamtimate) and parts of what once was you will get to keep on living forever.

Probably why certain plants grow where they do. Maybe it determines their longevity too.

Do you think a mirror having spirits holds any truth?

I can dig the plants. It would make sense. 🙂

The mirrors on the other hand... Like I said: CERN has disproven ANY existence of spirits here on earth...

The mirror is a lie. An illusion. Really it is though. Everything is inverted from the way it really is, so the you that you see isn't the same you the world sees. That's why most people hate how they look in pictures taken directly straight and even with the face, because it's the real you the world sees and not the you that you see in a mirror. Most counter this by taking pictures with the front camera on a phone, or a normal camera being held higher then the face. It's all thanks to the mirror teching you to not like the real natural you. Now I want to kill all mirrors.

For what it's worth I not only kept my 4 lead cover alive, it multiplied on my porch! What kind of plants do you have? Do some grow better than others?

CERN deals with logic.

Yes, they do.

I believe that everything we touch will keep something from us.

Kinda like we leave our energy?

Any experiences?
Not just this

But something from our souls, smells, our entity.

.

I feel sad when I touch/see the gifts from the man who I loved very much, but he is gone .

I feel that he is sad and always lost. Even tho I no longer have feeling for him.

Its like those things not just gifts, but something really 'from him' if u know what I mean.

Do you keep moments from your exes? I threw all kinds of second hand gifts and pictures in a trash bag. I had to forget the memories tied to certain objects.

Yea. Keeping those things can bring torture too. If we are created to survive, we'd not worry about belongings.

Now I don't wanna say I'm superstitious or anything... but I totally still cover the mirrors when someone close to me dies.
Is that your tradition to do so? Why?

My gran was Irish and the lady that raised me was black. I say "black" because I don't know her particular ancestry, but a black American. Anyway.

Both believed in covering the mirrors. My gran because the focus was mourning, not what we looked like. Lizzie because she believed the spirit could become trapped there or because other spirits might be encouraged to come to us, because of our sadness.

Having grown up with that kind of double whammy, I continue to cover the bases. 😄

That's so intresting. Can I take it further and say we see what we want to see when we look at ourselves in a mirror?

What if we never knew what we looked like? Just reflections off the water. That we only knew our character and not what we think we see.

Sometimes I just look in the mirror like "wow... the only time I can see myself is in a mirror or picture" or "people can see what I look like person to person, but I can never experience that" wild... lol

But if anything gave me bad vibes period I would want it around

Why though? Why keep bad vibes too?

Sometimes I know I can have a hand in how situations go so I try to resolve it, and sometimes I give ppl benefit of the doubt when they don't deserve it

I remember the stories of first European explorers who went into the unknown, but that was already at a time when cameras were invented. So, the tribal folk apparently was afraid at first to take pictures with these explorers because they believed a part of your soul gets stored on the picture, thereby you loose it.
That would be 15th century. Hmm... was that a Canon paint brush or a Nikon? 😕

I remember some similar stories about different primitive tribes and their first encounter with photography. Native Americans too, like the Cherokee...

But that took place around 19'th century. And honestly, I'm not that surprised - all things consider. I mean, beyond their primitive background - they had some experience with guns and gun powder, with steam trains and their forced introduction to the seemingly modern life style of the pale skin folks... but then, one day, they encountered this unusual characters - with their shady looking gadgets - telling them to stand still (back then, for a clear shot - you had to maintain a firm position for several seconds)

Not to mention the flash equipment from that time - which involved explosive powder!

Probably, the last time they witnessed a similar explosion - that came from a gun or a cannon and... people died. So, i presume - that was a freaking experience at first. Cause they didn't hold that belief. As the story goes - after seeing the benefits - the photos (a means to preserve an image of their past - of their ancestry), they grew quite fond of photography.
