I'm trying to figure out what I am experiencing. I get strange sensations. It's a little hard to describe since this is my first time going through this.
I call them energy pulses or energy waves. I get them once in a while. I don't know who's energy it is.

Yes! I truly believe they exist. I experienced what I believe was my twin flame several years ago. It was a very brief encounter and he exited my life just as quickly as he entered. However, it felt as if we knew each other through several lifetimes. He felt like home to me and I felt so at peace. It is very hard to describe. When he left it was the most extreme heartbreak I’ve ever experienced. No one has ever come close to that experience and the way he made me feel and I often wonder if anyone ever could?
I know somethings and yet I know others . Knowing which is real is impossible.

Yes, when I had my spiritual awakening it was triggered by someone coming into my life. The telepathic connection was insane.

I don't believe in twin souls, but in reincarnation. Your soul may recognise another soul from another life and react to it.
Or it's "just" your subconscious mind recognising similarities to someone that was important to you in this life. Or it's "just" astrology and a match made in heaven of energies.

If good or bad, it's also relative to the situation: what is considered bad in one setting could become essential in a different one. The way I understand it - your soul has a blueprint (from God). There have also been other souls created that have a blueprint that are out there in the world or in other places that immediately will lift your vibration - and you'll feel it on some level. Ultimately all souls have to return to their source - God.

i’ve seen people waste years of their lives (i’m talking 5,6 years) chasing a “twin flame” only to end up with nothing but low self esteem and shattered hopes and dreams.
so i feel like you gotta be realistic and reasonable with these things.
is the person returning your love and affections? are they putting forth as much effort as you are? (in keeping the connection alive with you) if not, then you’re only experiencing what’s called unrequited love.
staying in one-sided situations will eventually mess with your self esteem. it will slowly eat away at you.
so it’s wonderful to believe in soulmates and twin flames and all that but you gotta view things with a critical eye and a rational mind at the same time.
just marry the person who put in effort. that’s what i did. i didn’t care about all this soulmate theory. i just simply married the dude who put in the most effort. i also put in hella time, resources, and effort into this relationship with him too 😂
so yeah just don’t ever fall into the trap of idealizing and romanticizing someone who never put in any effort. just cuz you’re “in love”.

Most times people confuse their own strong desire for someone with twin flame connection. People also like to stay in their head and have an imaginary love story . For them in the world full of dissatisfaction something at least is deep and intense , even if it’s just in their head.

I agree with you on not wasting time looking for it. I have a hard time believing that this is real. I was curious if anyone experienced such things. I'm grateful to those who shared with me. I wanted to compare to see if this is what I am going through and not even know it.
I don't have any romantic feelings for anyone at the moment.
I started sensing and feeling.....feelings and I knew they were not mine. It would happen when I was busy working on something. This is why I posted. I'm not sure if it is a twin flame or soulmate. I was trying to figure out why I was picking up energy and who's energy it is. I don't know who or what it is. 😢

I quoted the wrong post. Unless you both have a genuine interest and falls within your life path, Anyone with a twin should avoid relying on astrology for said relationship.
It's a soul level connection. Defining and limiting it the relationship itself based off of biased interpretation can actually gaslight and restrict said relationship.

i wanna tell you something interesting that might happen before you meet a soulmate.
this might not happen in every single case so take it with a grain of salt but
you might see or meet a stranger who looks exactly like them or share very similar features with them like a few months before the soulmate actually enters your life. this actually happened to me. you’ll be looking at this stranger’s face and thinking, “why is this face so darn familiar?”
you also might meet someone who has the same birthday as them too. also happened. i met a girl who had the same birthday as my spouse a few months before i met him. it was a friendly platonic brief encounter.
so yeah you might have brief encounters with someone who looks like your soulmate or has the same birthday as your soulmate a few months prior to meeting them. but you won’t realize until after the fact because 1) you don’t know your soulmate’s birthday yet 2) you don’t know what they’re gonna look like until you meet them
so you’ll only go “hey, wait a minute” after the fact.
i’m bad at explaining but hope this kinda helps.
a soulmate could be a lover, spouse, a friend of the same gender….anyone.
also, it’s better to let go of the notion that things will be smooth sailing all the time with our soulmates.
they’re human too with a whole spectrum of emotions. from being happy to sad to being pissed off (lol) ,to being anxious and back to being happy again lol etc.
they’ll have their bad days and good days just like any of us. but things will generally be pretty peaceful between you. lots of joking around, fun times. being there for each other through thick and thin.

staying in one-sided situations will eventually mess with your self esteem. it will slowly eat away at you.
so it’s wonderful to believe in soulmates and twin flames and all that but you gotta view things with a critical eye and a rational mind at the same time.
just marry the person who put in effort. that’s what i did. i didn’t care about all this soulmate theory. i just simply married the dude who put in the most effort. i also put in hella time, resources, and effort into this relationship with him too 😂

you might see or meet a stranger who looks exactly like them or share very similar features with them like a few months before the soulmate actually enters your life. this actually happened to me. you’ll be looking at this stranger’s face and thinking, “why is this face so darn familiar?”
you also might meet someone who has the same birthday as them too. also happened. i met a girl who had the same birthday as my spouse a few months before i met him. it was a friendly platonic brief encounter.
so yeah you might have brief encounters with someone who looks like your soulmate or has the same birthday as your soulmate a few months prior to meeting them. but you won’t realize until after the fact because 1) you don’t know your soulmate’s birthday yet 2) you don’t know what they’re gonna look like until you meet them
so you’ll only go “hey, wait a minute” after the fact.

a soulmate could be a lover, spouse, a friend of the same gender….anyone.
also, it’s better to let go of the notion that things will be smooth sailing all the time with our soulmates.
