Sorry to piss in your cereal .... but, the contest was rigged.

Can't we all just get along?!

I'm not gonna apologize for this event. It was supposed to be a fun way to give a thanks for those who come on here with words of encouragement. Though I am relatively new and unknown I tried to make up for it by carpet bombing the boards with the announcement. The only thing I think I could've improved upon was to let the event linger a little more to get more notice. There really weren't that many votes and I didn't even include yours P by the way.

Oh and I "name-dropped" because Lena282 was hesitant about giving me some of her votes thinking I would reveal the source. I used the names of people that were both my friends and one's that I've known. They just so happened to be mostly Virgos because, oh my, I'm a Virgo and hang out mostly on the Virgo board. If the Virgos took this event by storm then I could see you claiming a "rigged" event but it was the pisces.

No worries man. I think P-Angel just likes to piss people off some days. You put announcements up everywhere. It's not like you PM'd a select few and asked for only their votes. That would be something worthy of complaining about.

I am curious who these cliques are though. The problem with calling them cliques is that it implies "outsiders" are excluded. I've been here for less than a year and never felt like an outsider. Am I in one of these cliques (am I goth, geek, or jock)? How many are there? Who are they? If I agree with someone more than once does that mean I have formed an unholy alliance with them and we are a clique now? Do we have big gang fights were the cliques just go for blood? I mean really what are we talking about here? I thought this was just opinions and conversation on the internet.

FFS people... I have seen a few of Tiki's posts but frankly in the 9 months I have been here P-Angel has been more insightful and helpful that Tiki. It's just a volume thing. Tiki makes a couple posts and they may be good but P posts 30 times a day, there's bound to be some good stuff there (unless it's woundedbird posting that much, then it's all crap). If Tiki didn't get enough votes it's because they aren't around much. Voting was open to anyone and all votes were counted. How is that rigged?
