I'm one of those. My personality doesn't combine with my partner's, but I change.
The thing that scares me the most is not just that loss, but thinking what would happen if or when that person disappears from my life. The best for me is always keeping areas for myself (time, activity, friends) because when it's over I recover fast, the hard part is building yourself again.

It is said things happen for a reason. Don't you feel spoiling him can make him take you for granted? I don't know your daily "real" life, so maybe is the way you talk about him putting him into a pedestal; I just expect he works too, because he seems to be perfect just by being himself.
Well, my take on this is go with the flow if that's what you both want. Is really kind that you don't want to push him due tu his circumstances but you matter too and suppressing your desires for others is going to hurt you in the long run. Besides that, is awesome to love and be loved.
We actually talked about that very thing a couple nights ago. I asked him point blank if he wants me to tone down the constant compliments. He grinned from ear to ear but blushed furiously and shook his head, saying in a quiet voice "I love it when you say things to me". Cracking up just recalling his bright red face lol, makes his blond hair really stand out.
We started as friends. He was fine with me being gay as long as I didn't make any unwanted overtures towards him. But our seemingly polar-opposite personalities blended really well and we grew close quickly. He's much friendlier than me when you first meet him, whereas I keep it on the down-low, take a step back & observe. I was attracted to him the moment I laid eyeballs on him, but I promised not to cross the line and I kept my promise.
Sexually into him for 4 years, in love with him for 3. Patience is indeed a virtue. Putting my wants ahead of his would've only destroyed our friendship as it would've shown that my word means nothing. His friendship was more important to me than getting my rocks off. He's a demigod on the outside, and equally beautiful on the inside. A genuine good boy. I kept my promise because I'm a man of my word, and I also didn't want to lose him.
Life is pretty funny sometimes. At first I thought he gave me what I wanted because he didn't wanna lose ME. But now he's appearing to be really enjoying himself. And like I said, I'm easy to please. There's more in him I enjoy than just the sexual stuff, and he knows that. Just having him in my arms makes me happier than I've ever been in my life. And I'm the first guy he's ever been with, this is all new to him. Rushing him would have the opposite effect. Baby steps, at his own pace. It started on my birthday in March this year and upto now, we have indeed gone all the way. In DXP terms, he has fucked me and I have fucked him 😄

I for once love one woman for 9 years, i throw away all woman who love me just for her, make many enemy to protect her, even fighting my own family, do unlogical thing like leaving my old job which is actually good to pursue what she want which is hard and make me jobless for a few month only for her to betray me.

Even so, it did almost drive me insane because I could no longer stand keeping it to myself. I have to be even more careful. But Jed isn't Chris, he doesn't have a child from a previous relationship with a woman, and he's not a sex addict like Matt. I knew the first two guys for only weeks before I hooked up with each one. But I've known Jed for 4 years so I've had plenty of time to get to know the man beforehand. I trust him far more than I could ever trust either Chris or Matt. They were nice guys but they were slaves to their individual circumstances and powerless to do anything about them.
It's all new for Jed so I don't have any long-term expectations of him. We're not attaching any labels to what this is, we're just enjoying ourselves for however long it lasts. But like I told him, I would die for him. Never said it for anyone before and I'll never say it for anyone else. Whatever happens, happens.

It is said things happen for a reason. Don't you feel spoiling him can make him take you for granted? I don't know your daily "real" life, so maybe is the way you talk about him putting him into a pedestal; I just expect he works too, because he seems to be perfect just by being himself.
Well, my take on this is go with the flow if that's what you both want. Is really kind that you don't want to push him due tu his circumstances but you matter too and suppressing your desires for others is going to hurt you in the long run. Besides that, is awesome to love and be loved.
We actually talked about that very thing a couple nights ago. I asked him point blank if he wants me to tone down the constant compliments. He grinned from ear to ear but blushed furiously and shook his head, saying in a quiet voice "I love it when you say things to me". Cracking up just recalling his bright red face lol, makes his blond hair really stand out.

He's much friendlier than me when you first meet him, whereas I keep it on the down-low, take a step back & observe. I was attracted to him the moment I laid eyeballs on him, but I promised not to cross the line and I kept my promise.
Sexually into him for 4 years, in love with him for 3. Patience is indeed a virtue. Putting my wants ahead of his would've only destroyed our friendship as it would've shown that my word means nothing. His friendship was more important to me than getting my rocks off. He's a demigod on the outside, and equally beautiful on the inside. A genuine good boy. I kept my promise because I'm a man of my word, and I also didn't want to lose him.
Life is pretty funny sometimes. At first I thought he gave me what I wanted because he didn't wanna lose ME. But now he's appearing to be really enjoying himself. And like I said, I'm easy to please. There's more in him I enjoy than just the sexual stuff, and he knows that. Just having him in my arms makes me happier than I've ever been in my life. And I'm the first guy he's ever been with, this is all new to him. Rushing him would have the opposite effect. Baby steps, at his own pace. That's one of the first things we talked at length about on my birthday this year. He does care about what I want, but I'm much further ahead of him in regards to sexuality. I know what I am. This is new to him, that's why I let him initiate intimacy for the longest time. I had no expectations of him regarding intimacy to begin with because we're not the same person. So we have to move at his pace, not mine.
And as I told him from the start "you say the word and it's automatically hands off with no hard feelings whatsoever". Because I can put myself in his shoes and understand how it'd feel being forced to work at someone else's pace. You can't force someone into something he's not ready to do. And if you truly love someone, then you'll put his needs ahead of yours. Some might call it naive or misguided, but that's how I love and I call it real.
Too many people bring ego into it, as if their love comes with a price tag attached, that the person they love should be grateful to being loved. And that's when it goes wrong. True love is being able to put your own wants/needs second to the one's you love. Giving Jed time to figure himself out is the least I can do. He wanted to make my birthday the most special day for me, and he offered himself to me. How many presumably straight guys would do that for another man? He shows me he cares through the many little things he does for me, even things someone might miss.
There's no universal right or wrong way of loving because it all depends on the individual. I thought I was doing a pretty damn good job at being a boyfriend to my first love, but as it turned out he was only interested in sex, from anyone at all. So there goes that one. If Matt couldn't appreciate what I had to offer, that's his problem.
Jed is different, and my approach was obviously more fruitful with him. Not sure about the "nobody is going to give you what I'm giving you" thing though. I can't compare other people's love threshold because I'm not other people. Love means different things to different people. Don't really care about other people though, only me and Jed matter right now 🙂
He's definitely changed big time in the 4 years that we've known each other, and even more since March. I'm very curious to see where we'll be on his birthday this year.

Im not fully into astrology, so i dont know about moon or ascendant.

Even so, it did almost drive me insane because I could no longer stand keeping it to myself. I have to be even more careful. But Jed isn't Chris, he doesn't have a child from a previous relationship with a woman, and he's not a sex addict like Matt. I knew the first two guys for only weeks before I hooked up with each one. But I've known Jed for 4 years so I've had plenty of time to get to know the man beforehand. I trust him far more than I could ever trust either Chris or Matt. They were nice guys but they were slaves to their individual circumstances and powerless to do anything about them.
It's all new for Jed so I don't have any long-term expectations of him. We're not attaching any labels to what this is, we're just enjoying ourselves for however long it lasts. But like I told him, I would die for him. Never said it for anyone before and I'll never say it for anyone else. Whatever happens, happens.
But she is the one who approach me first, saying "she love me" and fool me into thinking she is a good woman.

And besides every single person who has ever expressed their interest in ME in the beginning, I did NOT find attractive lol. Chris actually insulted me when we first met, and then later he apologized profusely. Even though I deemed him a total douchebag at first, I did find him aesthetically pleasing lol, beautiful Italian Virgo, same age as me. A few weeks later he confessed he was attracted to me, but my interest was already piqued by that time lol. Definitely didn't have a happy ending though, and 8 years later I surely wasn't glad to see him during the last Xmas holidays.
Your problem was that you were too easy to convince. I'm a paranoid sonofabitch lol, always second-guessing people's motivations. Sorry, but I am under the thought of losing yourself is a precursor to infatuation. Love as I see it doesn't send you into the clouds, instead it keeps you grounded by your own accord. Your judgment is clouded because leaving things behind is not the way you should be looking at things. There should be something for you at the city you would be moving to other than the person you are currently with. A job. An education. Mentorship. One or more of these should already be set in motion before you even relocate.
If you have done this, then I will eat my words without salt. If not, you sound like a dreamy little girl who is about to learn a really hard lesson about life. You could get lucky, but then the life lesson will not be learned.
Trust me. Make decisions that are self prosperous before making tandem decisions that are risky.
As for having a backup plan for when moving to another city, my clients are online from all over the place so it's not a matter for concern. Besides it was just a brainstorming session while nude in bed, we certainly haven't made any plans. Just thinking out loud.
My concern is more for him than you actually. Take no offense, and I understand that you are pondering possibilities. The best advice I can give is leave heavy and unnecessary baggage behind.

Actually no. Not everyone carries baggage. Some people, truly know how to let go of their past. This must be done before you can look forward to the future. The past keeps you in the past, and is common knowledge.
That said, I do admire your mindset. I am not telling you to not move on, and again, my thoughts concern him. You're fine, and I am not so sure he can accept that you are. My concern for you only involves the possibility to let this man go once he realizes that some of the services he wishes to provide for you are not necessary.
I am on the outside looking in, and only speaking from experience. Tandem growth is truly a beautiful thing, and I really hope this is in the stars for you. Just mind his feelings along with yours.
Definitely not putting any extra pressure on him or having unreasonable expectations of him like he's my salvation or anything. I love him for who he is and what I've already seen of him.
