buying a macbook air over the weekend

might want to get a cooling bar. i have a MacBook pro, after a year and a half the built in fan is suffering

I haven't experienced much limitation in what I can do on my MacBook versus what I did with the PC. Mac has Final Cut Pro, which we will be using in school, and the font standardization feature is a reason graphic designers lean toward Mac (I think its just been done a long time even though the same design projects could be handled on a PC). It's a school-issued laptop that was included in tuition. Besides graphic design, I use the internet to stream movies and talk shit online, which is easily accomplished on both PC and Mac.

I don’t think I’ve hated any type of person as much as a person who thinks windows is better than Mac.
Try teaching a 60yo how to use windows and I swear they will just give up on technology altogether.
Hand a 60yo a MacBook and they can teach themselves how to use the damn thing in a day.
I taught my aunt and uncle how to use their windows notepad and I felt sorry for them because it wasn’t intuitive nor user friendly
I swear the creators who are smart ass software losers with no life or nothing else better to do than write programs create windows with may too many options and it’s so messy and all over the place.
I’m a minimalist and I like easy peasy japanesey and that’s exactly why I love Mac it leaves out the unnecessary bullshit and leaves you with clean and easy not to mention it doesn’t get viruses so you don’t have to update bloody norton antivirus CUNT!!

PC/microsoft has everything you need and is user friendly.

a friend told me he's looking for a macbook air for me for the same price i will pay for a new laptop (dell or acer i told him) and then he told me mac's a "certified chick magnet" so i was like OMG, GET ME ONE BRO.

You won't regret it. I've had my MacBook Air for years now, and haven't had any issues. I love how light-weight and portable it is.
Also, don't be worried about the transition from PC to Mac. A lot of it is intuitive.

I have always personally seen Macs use more for art and graphics, IMO but maybe that has changed.
Many normal based type of software that you buy for windows PC is not compatible and you have to buy Mac specific.
