Uranus in 10th?

No! Lol Uranus, Saturn and Neptune in the 6th, Capricorn. I'm the lucky woman with Capricorn empty in her 7th.

Funny you guessed that, why?
astrology speaking, career is in 10th house.

i thought ur Uranus is up there 😆

Why would Uranus up there denote the ability to teach?

it got my interest.

i'd like to know what makes people change their career so often. is it caused by planet aspects or houses. i'm a curious guy as long as i'm still interested.

btw i'm 10th house dominant where career and public image are placed.

Alaska is popular because they have Federal money to pay off your loans if you work for certain entities. The Alaska Native Medical Center has a program that will pay off your loans if you sign a contract to work with them for a year or two. I have a friend that owes 70k in loans. She's been working at the hospital for 3 years and each year the hospital has paid 20k off of her loans. They give her a lump sum check each year.

Also, if you get back into teaching (by going back to school) there are other programs that will also pay off your loan. Alaska is one the places that will do that, but again you have to sign a contract to work. There is also the peace corp. 🙂

Just some things to think about for you!

Any teachers on dxp?

Anyone looking to change their life direction too?

Hell, I'm still paying a ton towards my original degree.

Sorry but this is stupid. You're already in debt up the ass and you're going to change gears, go to MOAR SCHOOL, and get further in debt to get into a shitty field where the pay is garbage?

Stop fucking around.

Other things you need to consider- you just have an associates. Guess what? You need to work on a bachelors. Depending on your state, after you get your degree, you may have to get credentialed. Some districts require you to have a Master's vs a Bachelors to teach at certain levels.

Cali is pretty crazy and has all sorts of hoops they make people jump through just to teach high school and elementary. A friend of mine was about to lose her mind by the time she finished credentials and her Master's. By the time she got into teaching, she was semi burned out. After a year at the school she got hired at, she's fed up with the parents and all the crazy associated dealing with those types.

She and I used to work together as servers and she's told me she misses serving sometimes because teaching just did not pan out like she'd wanted it to. I hear that a lot from people who got into teaching here. One of my current coworkers is still working on her credentials and she's also burning out from that.

But it's Cali and Cali's education system is laughable. They make the teachers jump through all sorts of hoops, shit pay, shit parents, stupid standards and testing requirements, etc.

I don't see how anyone manages to pay off their student debts as teachers, tbh.

I come from a family of teachers (mom and grandma). My grandma was always asking me if what I was doing had teaching options. Regardless of if it did or not, I was like NOPE. Zero interest in teaching. You can be all "oh I like to help others and blah blah." Guess what, not good enough. You gotta be ready for a thankless job with shit pay.

Sorry to be all womp womp, but it's the reality of the situation in many places. Do your research well, talk to teachers in your area to get some feedback in how they like it. The last thing you need is to get into more debt only to realize what you chose sucks and you just wasted all that time and money on something you hate.

I enjoyed this conversation very much:

Lunabee: "Anyone looking to change their life direction too?"

Nepturanus: Uranus in 10th? it got my interest. i'd like to know what makes people change their career so often. is it caused by planet aspects or houses. astrology speaking, career is in 10th house. referring to "it's time to change my career. again". Uranus... desire to change. i have this in my 10th and i changed my career a lot.

Lunabee: Uranus in the 6th, Capricorn. Aries MC. Well Aries mars is quick to jump!

1) could it be transit Aries Uranus is wandering in Lunabee's 10th house?

2) I have it transiting my 4th house and you see me relocating. Hopefully natal Jupiter in Aries in the 4th has good news for me. (what? transit J is in oppos! oh, no, why did I do that to me?)

3) I also have natal Uranus in the 10th and I've changed my employer once in 3-4-5 years.

4) can natal Uranus in the 6th have the same/similar effect as natal Uranus in the 10th?

5) or would Uranus in the 6th also mean you go to another workplace but work for the same employer?

back to OP:

6) Sag can be a good teacher. I get from Astrology.

7) Uranus in Cap may mean your changes are slow/steady/well-thought.

8) wouldn't Mars and MC in Aries suggest you better are the sport coach? or travel organizer?

9) I guess you should look at your Mercury and Neptune to check what talents you bring to your teaching life.

Dwell baby, you always have such insightful information!!

Good luck on your move! Makes sense, 4th house being home matters : ) what is having Aries Jupiter like? Is it natally in your 4th? I always struggled finding my transits ? it's so simple yet I continuously struggle with it. What site do you use? Step by step directions perhaps?

Natal Uranus in 6th kinda sucks. I have it square my moon and I'm completely erratic, accident prone and have trouble regulating my emotions from day to day and moment to moment.

Mars MC conjunct mars - I looked up becoming a personal trainer and getting my license. I thought about doing Pilates courses 'Sunday at Sunrise on the beach' I'm obsessed with working out. I'd really love that direction. But it's either: 1 start my own business or 2 work for a gym and host classes.. I'm still in the planning phase of all this which is where Capricorn uranus, Saturn and Neptune 6th come in.. I'm a methodical planner but I strike when the iron is hot.

My natal mercury is sag 5th house conjunct sun in 5th (combust some call it.)

Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius. You probably bring a playful nature to you work. Having it in the 10th could mean your father held a prominent position and that you too will follow his footsteps. Good work ethic, prone to procrastination. You could be smart about finding ding ways to do less work and still get by lol.

With Uranus, MC and Neptune conjunct, I see high ideals, someone who needs stimulation in their job. Independence in your profession is likely. Do you have trouble getting approval from your superiors? You could be eccentric. You could rebel some. You more than likely go into a job and change the status quo - doing things your way.

I feel like a teacher can construct their class as they wish. It's up to them to make it fun. To earnestly give themselves to bring awareness to a subject of their choice, as they wish.

Despite pay.

Despite it all.

Also, stop using "I feel like." You are a human being who is capable of conscious thought. Express that. "I feel" is a pussy way of saying "I think" because you're scared of being assertive.

You bitch. I didn't respond to your previous methods because I had no need to. You have been correct about many things. I do have student debt and don't need more - hence my reluctance. But, there are other avenues as well. Also, many federal grants for teachers, social workers etc. (Look it up) I should get my bachelors.

I speak in such a manner because I can never say for certain anything unless it's my opinion. If I'm the credible source I'll state it.

Since we are on the subject, why do you beat people so hard on here? Are you doing them a favor of bringing the truth or are you merely a tyrant?

Sweetheart, I'm well aware of the grants available and all that noise. I was in school for quite a bit and am familiar with all the avenues of funding education.

If you can't handle me, I can't imagine how you handle the workforce. Your entire post and approach to all of this is utter whimsy and it's sad coming from an adult. Choose whatever you like, it's your life, but be a little bit more adult in how you approach it. This "lol new career!" thing and the logic you're using to do so is disturbing coming from a grown adult.

It would just suck to see you waste all that time and money (regardless of grants) and end up hating it. Your outlook on all of this is rather fantasy dwelling vs the reality of it all. I'm a little confused as to why you'd ditch the medical field to get into teaching. You'd be better off becoming a nurse and teaching in that avenue vs the public school system.

The Virgo-Leo daughter of my Aqua gf beame a teacher and she wanted to do things her way. She got a lot of resistance from from others. She changed workplace twice. She thought about creating her own school.

I haven't seen the involved people. Not sure if anything was wrong with them. But in my head (and I did not tell it to my gf) I didn't agree that she started immediately to change the world. If I were her, I would have taken time to observe for a few years. But write my notes so that I don't forget and betray my own ideas.

One way is to have a profile at astro.com or astrotheme. They report your current transit daily. For free: part of the transits. For money: every transit on every day of year.

The other way is to use this site http://www.astrologyonline.eu/Graphic/Transits_Forecasts.asp. Click on Transit, then give your data. Later choose pdf.

Mars MC conjunct mars ... personal trainer ... license. ... Pilates ... obsessed with working out. ... own business ... host classes... Capricorn uranus, Saturn and Neptune 6th ... methodical planner but I strike when the iron is hot.

My natal mercury is sag 5th house conjunct sun in 5th (combust some call it.)

Actually I think Sag Sun is enough to be accident prone. Sag Merc makes it even worse.

I have little knowledge of job market in the USA. But I can sense that working as a personal trainer is a project that will benefit you on the long-term. Probably there are a lot of young people who have their fitness episode. These people compete with each other. And hence the payment is not very high. But anybody with a business plan/dream/vision can leave all these behind on a long-term basis.

To feed and also use your Sag Merc in the 5th, it might suggest to produce training videos. As well as learning a lot of new/different approaches/branches. Or combine it with work for theater or movie stunts. Or maybe trainer for school theater? sorry, I'm going too far with crazy ideas.

I have taught Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with my (confusing) Sag Mercury. The ones I care about said I was the best private teacher they had. A few others were disgusted. Cause I talked like a crazy flying from one branch to another then back to the original subject then away again etc.

PS: Jane Fonda (thinking of her sport videos) has Leo Moon. 5th house themes.
