During the day, people can choose not to vote in the town square. But the day does not begin til all those 4 categories sent their votes.
I mean FFS, you saw someone didn't send you a vote. Why not send a PM to tell them they have to vote?

I mean especially since you know by now that the slut knows who the mafia is since they sent you the same person last night. It was obvious they'd do the same.
Having said that, since we know who the mafia is, we'd have majority on this vote and the game would be over anyway.

I can not confirm or deny what took place last night. But I will say that like every night everyone has had 15 hours to get in their picks, and I made the deadline clear from the beginning of this game.
But I'm often of believer in the tough titties philosophy!

Stoic is suddenly looking really good right now. He understood why there was a fuck up and went for a compromise over the NYAA vote so NYAA didn't get screwed and the rest of us who showed our hands didn't get screwed either.
Robyn, we talked about hosting. Didn't I say to be in contact with the players, especially those who have roles?

But in this case there is no alternative because the game is over as it is.

Yes I had 8 hours to vote...like I said most townies wait until the last minute to cast their votes, in the event they vote against the grain. You have to work as one unit.I may have had 8 hours but the Mafia and key players had 14 and get to make their votes in private.

Having roles - you act on them by virtue of having that role. That's the point of the night..when only ROLES participate.
Your vote cannot be ignored because it comes with having a role that determines the outcome of the night.
Meanwhile day time caters to the majority.

I am not acknowledging any suicides in this game. The voting deadline for who to lynch will still held at the same time. in 4 hours and 37 mins.
As I see it, the game is still up in the air, and either side has the opportunity to win it, regardless if two players want to sit it out.

As a host, I interact with players.
If I assign a timeline, I do send a message at least an hour before the timeline to remind people. Because we are not all on the same timezone. And because roles > regular townies. And because the night caters to roles. If it didn't..might as well not have a night at all.
At least run a random generator and assign one of the remaining townies the slut role.

How crazy would it be if Damnata and Ramby came back last second to vote someone off today because they're really mafia and staged this whole episode. Not saying its likely, but I would consider them the greatest players of all time.

Yet I was the only one who believed the mafia should be given the chance to change and join the townies. To be fair, I was a bit of a drunk. My skills were getting rusty. My votes were always last minute. I spent more of my time in the pub versus being in the office where I could've really helped people.

Admission:
Tonight is the first time I miscalculated the time. I've always been on time with my votes the last 2 games because I'm always paranoid about being late (just ask Dazed how much i harassed him in the last game to discuss voting strategies).
I am 12 - 14 hrs ahead of most people here. And I have to be up at unearthly hours, despite having a day job, to remember to vote. So tonight I overlooked the time and somebody died.
So I apologise for my earlier outburst, and I apologise to LeoVeen that I wasn't here to save her when i could.

She never specified. If you're going to change a rule that wasn't like the first for games.. You should specify.
No one has to specify. The rules were clearly stated at the start of the game. Previous allowances don't have to be carried. TMK
The only thing she clearly stated was that more time may be allocated for time zone differences.

We all signed up knowing that the game would involve some level of participation. If you can't commit and pop in for two seconds to cast a vote then don't play. No one forced anyone to play. As the host, you shouldn't have had to chase anyone.

We knew the first mafia off the bat. Figured out the second 2 rounds ago.
After tonight, I will now 100% the last one. I am at 80% on the third mafia.
