My ex husband entered the US in the mid 90's on refugee status. So did my most recent ex. They are both Muslim's and they both support Trump and his immigration policy. They both experienced Hillary as their senator too.

There is nothing wrong with strong borders and careful vetting of immigrants.
no its not...but if your gonna vet immigrants...its SHOULD BE ALL IMMIGRANTS...not just one specific group of people cause you know thats ..racist ..—?
Unfortunately there is a huge problem with terrorists from certain countries and of certain backgrounds. My neighbor's son got arrested last year for aiding ISIS. I know another man whose brother died in Syria fighting for ISIS. Both of these men entered the US on refugee visas. If a threat is coming from a certain part of the world then it is absolutely necessary to be more vigilant about background checks. That is not racist, it is smart. I am hardly one to be called racist or anti Muslim.

Oh, God no. I know they don't represent all Muslim's. It is a very very small percentage. But it doesn't change the fact that extremists have waged a war on us in the name of Islam. It may be 1 out of every 100,000 that hate the west but that 1 has the potential of being very very dangerous.

My Muslim friends hate ISIS too!

just curious, why are they exes?
Long long stories for both.

I was married and have 2 children with one. We were together for many years. I would say he was controlling and liked his alcohol.

Most recent one I was with for five years and still consider him the love of my life but he pretty much dropped me. He has PTSD and other issues.

And I am far from perfect so I'm sure some has to do with me.

Any way to work things out with the love of your life? what sign is he?

I'm confident that it will work out in time. I have been crying about him on here for awhile. He's a Libra. I'm just giving him space right now. He disappeared a few years ago for a few months when he was depressed. He eventually came back and we were really good for a long time.

Somebody likened him to Reagan in one post. However, there's one substantial difference between the two: Reagan is tactful but Trump is tactless and a bigot.

Correction:

To the first point, I said that the criticisms used against Trump are the same ones that were used against Reagan.

-Loose cannon

-Bigot

-Racist

-Idiot

And to much the same extent, these criticisms are lobbed at every Rebublican in or out of office. It's really just a page in the Democrat handbook. Most people are too myopic to see it though, because it's mostly just brought up every 2-4 years.

And to your second point, Reagan was never seen by the opposition as being tactful. History may have been more kind but not when he was President.

As to others who see parallels between the two, here are some:

http://www.newsmax.com/t/newsmax/article/665217?keywords=trump-reagan-common-things&year=2015&month=08&date=03&id=665217&aliaspath= Manage Articles Template-Wire&oref=conservativetribune.com

Mandatory. Muslim. Registration.

American Muslims.
Source.

turn on ....a tv ...lol its pretty common knowledge 😆
Actually it's not, not unless you spend your life online reading news stories.

LOL ...you are too funny ...I find it interesting that you have all these articles in your post but you can't remember something that was on every MAJOR new channel for months but ok ..here you go ...

The "registration" issue was from a year ago (easy Google search). I've pretty much stayed away from any news channels until about 2 months ago. And I don't watch any alphabet network news at all.

My main reason for even posting here was to clarify for firebunny a misinterpretation of one of my posts in an earlier thread.

I wouldn't have even posted anything else if it weren't for Shadowcat raising the issue that we're talking about now.

I 97% believe Trump is a sleeper agent.

I think a deal was made when she was challenging Obama. They promised to get her elected in 8 years if she dropped out of the race. She is so unlivable that the only way she has a chance of winning is to give her an opponent that is even worse. I think that it may backfire and Trump will actually win.

Did I mention that I dislike them both? I know I'm stating my case against her but I'm disgusted by both. It's like choosing between puke and crap.

Well considering that I wasn't watching any news during the controversy, and haven't heard ANYTHING about this "registry" business on any news that I *have* been watching aince it happened, I wouldn't exactly call the issue "common knowledge". Except to those who spend a lot of time watching or reading the news.

I *have* heard his general immigration policy and I support it. And ironically, it's the same immigration policy that Bill Clinton laid out on several occasions when he was President. If he were running today on the platform he ran on in 1992, he never would have won.

He just cuts me off out of nowhere. He changed his number and doesn't respond to emails.

Last time, he called one day like nothing changed. He didn't even think we were broken up. He said he went "into his box". He promised never to hurt me like that again. That was 2012. About 6 weeks ago he sent me flowers with a sweet note. I called to thank him and got no reply. I tried text and email and no reply. 2 days later I called again and his number has been changed and I haven't heard a word since. I considered going to his house but he obviously doesn't want to see me.

Whatever. Network news isn't all that popular in the US, and CNN isn't even on my Direct TV listing anymore. And I honestly haven't heard anything about it on any national radio programs. Sue me for being out of the loop.

Don't all immigrants get background checks?

Anyway...

I kind of wonder if Trump is just running for show to

make it look like Hillary has some opposition.

They would have sone better by planting Cruz or Casich.

I'm not familiar with Casich, but I disagree on Cruz.

I'm conservative, for the most part, and that man gives me the creeps.

And unbelievable.

Also unbelievable is Trump being willing to

take such a massive pay cut.

Bottom line for me is that after two... TWO terms

in the election process... not giving it my energy again.

But I would looove to see trump turn this boat around.

Hillary treats our vets like shit, everyone like shit, she's a cunt.

Trump is just a big mouthed gemini who barks more then he bites, hilary bites and actually injects poison.

I love snakes but damn, she's a cockrocket. Trump sucks, they all suck.

I don't bother with either because Bilderburg elitists want Hillary and that's where it most likely will be ending up.

Cancan, security vetting a 'group' of people is not being racist. This word is used so liberally these days and it's getting on my tits. We all know that not every Muslim is a terrorist ? The word you're looking for is discrimination. For example, which of these examples are racist and which are discriminatory?

1. Only security vetting people who state their religion as Muslim.

2. Only security vetting people who state their gender as male.

3. Only security vetting people who state their ethnicity as white.

4. Only security vetting people who are over the age of 65.

You do realise that security vetting of ALL personnel who are citizens of Iraq, Iran, Lybia, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen along with ALL personnel who have travelled to these countries since March 2011, irrespective of their declared faith and skin colour, are ALL subjected to additional security checks before being granted to travel and enter the USA. I had to travel to Iraq last year for a short work project. I need to go to USA later this year and I have been advised it may take three months to get clearance. I'm British, white, female, no criminal record, plenty of trips to USA before, oh and I'm non Muslim. They ARE checking everyone and it's for a bloody good reason. It is NOT because they are being racist.

@bmoon8 So while he does say he wants to protect the environment.. His stance regarding how to actually do so is far too weak for me. I believe fracking is detrimental on levels that most Americans have absolutely no awareness of. Look up Josh Fox. He's a very talented documentary filmmaker who has shed a lot of light on the matter.
What would you suppose we do? Not frac and not drill?

Exactly. He. Keeps. Fucking. Changing his goddamn mind. Or using intentionally vague wording. He has said speeches, where at least 20 of what he's said has meant NOTHING. Just aoshdofngieowbhe
Exactly.

That's why I find it amusing that people automatically portray him as honest.

Please.

Just because the other candidate is dishonest, doesn't mean he's honest...even relative to that other candidate, and certainly not in absolute terms.

And just because he's a loud belligerent jackass doesn't make him honest. It's completely possible for a loud belligerent jackass to be a liar, too. 😎

Shit, he probably puts on that "I can't and won't censor my big fuckin mouth" act because he knows people are gullible enough to fall for it.

You don't live here. Stfu and worry about your own corrupt politics. Yours are worse than ours.
As an ally, whatever happens in your country has some effects on our country too. Since Duterte is tactless and disrespectful, if Trump wins, I think it'll worsen the now becoming adverse relations between the US and our country.

As I said, worry about yours. Your dude is worse than our lame candidates. I don't care if ours affects anyone else's. It doesn't give you free reign to tell us who to vote for. After all, look who runs your country. You guys did a fabulous job in voting that wonderful representation in. The fact that your uninformed ass thinks Hilary is the obvious choice just makes you an example that you know fuck all about what's really going on, as do a lot of people who don't live here. You're just as clueless and gullible of media influence as the dipshits who think either of these two assholes are viable candidates.

The reality is we can vote for whoever the fuck we want and it doesn't have to be the two "primary" candidates. They're just the ones the media and powers that be want us to fixate on.

Personally, I'm going to write in "your mom" or Bernie. Depends on my mood that day.

If you're interested in the reality of frackings impact on our planet and the communities involved I recommend checking out documentaries Gasland and/or Gasland 2 by filmmmaker Josh Fox. We have to find alternative solutions and will. Hopefully it won't be too late.

I'm fully aware of what fracking is and does to the planet. I work for an oil company and I've fracked myself. It's better than just drilling and leaving massive holes in the planet. They make it sound much worse than it is.

The fat old witch is certainly proving that Karma is real.

Check out the video, as her corpse is dragged and then tossed into her ambulance van.

whats wrong with her? health wise?

She most likely has Parkinson's Disease, or some other serious combination of neurological disorders.

Her brain is dysfunctional, as she regularly loses control of both her mind and body.

She has seizures all the time, but many of them are hidden from public view.

Here is an instant where she had a seizure right in front of the media:

lool you crack me up..I thought she was gonna have a real seizure or something ...she was just giving a snarky reaction to all the ladies talk at her at one ..she also completely didn't answer their question its the head movement and shocked look was just a shady way of telling the media to stop yelling in her ear ...and also a sneaky way of just avoiding the question lol 😏 but something really did happen in that first video she just collapsed... why do you think she has parkinson's disease
