I know I'm no poet and that I have a tendency to speak from within my being but never considered to wonder if I had been too idealistic, making people feel weird off my naivety.

Keeping poetry in mind—
Admittedly, I do not have much of a taste for poetry reading performances. Especially with the snapping for applause. I find it rather pretentious.

Not it at all. You're the one who betrayed me. You knew the state of mind I was in and decided to play with and confuse me. This isn't some victim-playing shit, either. This is what you did. I figured it out, was fucking disgusted because I was completely genuine, and struck back. You were never a friend in the first place and tricked me into thinking you were crazy and in need of a friend so I'd defend you...which I did, to my own detriment.

It was all an act, you're not even really paranoid/delusional, you're completely "there" but simply have no conscience. You might want to find a new schtick, because the whole "poor paranoid grandma" one isn't gonna help you anymore.
