This is an absolutely terible comparison.
If you enter someones house you are expected to drink all the tea they make you. People assume everyone wants a cup of tea with them. If I come to vist you make me a cup of tea and I drink it and if I don't leave then I obviously want another. If I'm gonna leave then I need another cup of tea before I go. If we have been doing some work better have a cup of tea.
Americans don't know about tea culture man.
