Not his bombs. No need to apologize.

Next they're going to want to dig up Einstein.
if the US didn't bomb them you couldn't have had a nintendo, OP.

Well...since he is visiting the place he will express his grief whether or not he apologizes.
I think it will not matter ~ diplomacy still continues as there are more important things to talk about (:
My cat's breath smells like cat food.
If the US had not destroyed japan, the whole manga industry would not exist, think about this OP

If it makes people feel better in some what shape or form why not? He's a humanitarian, So he likely wants to say sorry just to make people feel better.
Sure he wasn't born at that time, and it won't make up for the devastation. But at least it shows a softer side and shows we regret it having to come to that. It doesn't have to be about a mandatory apology, but friendship and a new age.
Apologize?

Should white people today, who have never owned slaves, be held accountable?
We all know damn fucking well that if France or Poland or any other European nation had nuclear weapons at the start of World War 2, they would have turned Deutschland into a smoldering radioactive crater in the earth. They would have made sure the "Thousand Year Reich" was instead "Uninhabitable Land for a Thousand Years".
And no one would have been sorry. At all.
Apologize? Bitch please.
A few of many Japanese residents say he shouldn't apologize to which I agree. If they're against I'm sure they have their reasons.
only if the emperor of japan visits pearl harbor
Japanese officials
do not want him to.
americans do not
want him to either.
some survivors of
Hiroshima and
Nagasaki want
him to apologize.
some say he should
not come if he is not
willing to apologize.
others say apology
is no necessary.
I say apology is not
necessary. It will not
change anything nor
bring life to the victims.
Just learn from the war.

Well truth to be told I don't think he should apologize. He wasn't alive in 1945 and he didn't do it. I can only say that the best option is to let it be in the past and move on. What do you guys think of this? Should he apologize for it?
