My house is fine. Took off the boards and what not. Doral just got some rain from it, not much else.
I hope the burgers are safe

Good.
Seems like no one knew where it was going to land,
until it actually landed. :/
Bleh.
Glad you didn't have any damage to speak of, Aquistorm.
All is good here...I think only a couple hundred people lost power and it hardly rained or anything....just windy.
Glad you're well

Good here, just no power. ?
I had no idea you were even in this area, or I would
have posted your name too, of course. o.O
Glad everything is alright, but so sorry the power is
still out.
My brother is driving back from Alabama, where he
took his family for the storm... apparently their power
is still out too. :/
Hopefully everyone will be back to normal by the end
of the day.

Had to take a precautionary measures. I wasn't gonna wait and see. Especially if you got kids. Better safe then sorry.
I'm glad that everyone who has posted so far is okay!

Me too!
I'm incredibly grateful, as well, if I haven't mentioned that yet.
I'm surrounded by water on almost all sides... less than a mile
from the river.
By all rights, we should be swimming-- but we're not.

I was worried too as I have family living/working in florida, which is why sometimes I check weather/news there. but I call up to find out if things are good.

I can imagine the relief! I was watching video footage of flooding in some areas from this - scary. I'm glad you weren't affected!

There's even a rumour floating around that the temp
may drop into the seventies tomorrow.
That's between 21Β° - 26Β° C for all of you on Celsius.

... who was in the path of that storm faring?Hope all is well π
We were really fortunate-- only lost power for about an hour.
No damage.
But the cities just north and south of us are still without power,
and some suffered major damage.
One of our friends had a tree fall on their house-- a very large,
very old tree... it's unbelievable.
I'm still astounded that my little area was left unscathed.

And the Cap-Pisces whose name escapes me!
I'm glad you're ok! I'm in Bama so we're dealing with drought.

I'm great, thanks --
Seems I've picked up a few of you off the eastern seaboard,
but I could've sworn you were all coastal. :/
Still 'Dixie 'Merica' though, so I guess checking in never hurt.

@rosaknowsyaHas anyone heard from her? I know she lives very close to the coast
Probably drank some bad tap water

Very close, as far as I know-- I have family there, as well,
so I'd like to think I would have heard if they were in bad
shape on the coast... I know there's flooding. :/
But she is ever elusive, anyway... and a survivor,
so I hope we'll hear from her soon.

Yeah we have water restrictions and 3 forest fires happening. I plan to do a rain dance every day this week. We need rain!
Well my brother was supposed to be sent there for storm duty. He didn't have to go this time.
