matt damon!!!

i hope he beats leo and brings an oscar home for team venus! he should have lost weight for the role though. that would have sealed the win.
What's the team of Leo? Are you Venusian, Ands?

what? you say you miss him and you ask if he's venusian?

let me add to the rumors that you are Ands yourself.

I knew he exists until one day I decided that I liked him. He was often a supporting act at that time. Then he got his own roles. I like him. I don't know why. maybe cause humble or simple.

I'm Team Leo, dude. I love his acting. So many good movies in which he starred... Catch Me If You Can, Inception, The Great Gatsby, The Aviator, among many others set in the early 1900s! 🙂

I think Bird and Gob used Google. well, Bird worked more. Cap kept it simpler.

heh? Cap uses even less words than the Scorp. And is even more successful than Aries. strange creatures.

well, Bird is the center of passion. seems so at least.

l'humanité a détruit la planète et doit trouver son avenir ailleure.

Stephen Hawking pense que les progrès de la science sont une menace pour l'humanité.

L'intelligence artificielle pourrait signer la fin de l'humanité, selon Stephen Hawking.
Artificial intelligence is like artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. It isn't real.
Automation has played a big role in degenerating man's intelligence and his
intellect and ability to think compared to his predecessors.

Now, whereas Hawking has offered his opinions on the latest in science
and technology and how they affect the future course of mankind, as older technology
had affected the course of his world, today, it should be noted that Hawking
is NOT saying anything that wasn't predicted over 2000 years ago.

Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Something that mankind does not consider is that not only the earth, but even the heavens will pass away.
Quite arrogant and naive are they who think they can save the planet. It's all a vanity.
Nevertheless, it is clearly understood and agreed upon by many that the earth cannot continue on the path
it is on. The harder they try to save it, the faster it slips from their hands.

"ALS is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. We are told Hawking has had
ALS for over 52 years, which is a record by many decades. Jason Becker is the only person I have
heard of who has lived more than 20 years with the disease, so there is about a three-decade difference
between the longest survivor and the second longest survivor. That is a more than 100% difference
between first and second place. It would be like Justin Gatlin running the 100 meters in 9.8 seconds,
and Usain Bolt beating him with a time of 4.5 seconds. In other words, statistically it doesn't happen.

The average survival time for ALS is four years. When Hawking was first diagnosed in 1963, doctors
gave him two years to live. And yet here we are, 52 years later and counting. Should you believe it?
Well, no."
Soo...what are you trying to say?

@HellDorado

I thought that's what you were going to say.

Something like that, anyway.

😛

Does make you wonder, though o.O
the only certainty in life is death
...buuuut

if you look at pictures of him over the years? he did age backwards more than once. that's in addition to him beating all statistical odds where his physical constitution is concerned. that's in addition to him beating all statistical odds where his IQ is concerned.

statistically, all of those things occurring... is unlikely. but lets just say that maybe he did pull all of that off. then i would have to presume he is some sort of demigod.

but then, if he's a demigod, why is he incapacitated in the first place?

Technically, demigods don't exist on this plane anymore.

If he really *was* a demigod though, he would still be light

years ahead by the sheer fact of his existence over here,

actually breathing the air.

Speaking hypothetically, anyway 🙂

@MrFirebird,

] Artificial intelligence is like artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. It isn't real.
ok, agreed

] Automation has played a big role in degenerating man's intelligence and his
] intellect and ability to think compared to his predecessors.
I don't agree. everybody says human babies are getting smarter year for year.

] Now, whereas Hawking has offered his opinions on the latest in science

I agree. Also skepsis or pessimism is nothing new.

] Daniel 12:4
] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time
] of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
oops, did they say knowledge and end-of-the-world in one pragraphe?

] 2 Peter 3:10
] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which
] the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall
] melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein
] shall be burned up.
yes and nobody knows all these predictive stories came only as warning/thread/intimidating or the humanity had had experienced it already before. Like with meteorits?

] Something that mankind does not consider is that not only the earth, but even the heavens will pass away.

ok I got you. The only point is that there are different scenarios for the end of the world. Those who are related to scopes bigger than the earth only. For example Sun getting cold. Or blackhole sucking all. And those who are related to the climate change. Atom bomb. Spreading diseases made in laboratory. And similar cases.

Actually what he said was like this, "We will not establish self-sustaining colonies in space for at least the next hundred years, so we have to be very careful in this period."

“We are not going to stop making progress, or reverse it, so we must recognise the dangers and control them,” he added.

@HellDorado,

"stephen hawking died decades ago. an impostor took his place. ... anything stephen hawking says? its what they want you to hear."

honestly I don't know what is so special about what he says? this is why I don't know why an impostor should have been needed?

The first time I heard his name it was mentioned by a Christian missionary and I was already older than 40. Even then it did not make me curious. A few moments ago I read his wiki page. Still I did not get "admiring feelings".

But it is funny how he talk through computer. And his divorces are dramatic. Also his theories about black holes seem to be subject of discussions. Well, that be the worry of the theoretical physicists.

"yet because his name is associated in the public psyche with genius, you felt it worth your time to discuss his opinion."

My actions are partly random. The twitter trends triggered me. Then I liked the gifs with Matt Damon. Also I'm used to my threads get ignored. So I did not expect to influence anybody or start any discussion. Also you see they started to bet on oscar for Leo or Matt.

But I like any warnings in relation to climate change.

okay, so my point seemed to be missed.

people hold his word in high esteem. thats the point.

ok, I see your point. If there is a Holleywood movie about his life and he gets a twitter trend, then he must be influential. that is one point. And you have it.

the other point is I don't know what is special about him besides his talk through computer and his marriage life. but this is me. I might have high expectations of who is interesting or special. Like Kardashians are influencial too but I miss 95% of what is going on with them. I maybe have watched a few minutes of reality with Osbornes (or even Paris). But not a single minute of the Kardashians.

It's like there are a few blanks to be filled with certain characters. Hawkins had no new expert ideas so he started writing popular books. From there he filled one of the blanks. But what he said was nothing new. In my opinion. That was not a revolution. But I know I might be sugarcoating. It could be worse than that. He could be an illuminati game character. Everything is possible. But I have paid more time to the childish theory of "law of attraction" than to his books.

I see you pushed my obsession button. thank you for heating me.
