>You're confusing me. Based on what am I choosing? Is there any specific theme or criteria to look for? Wow!!!
Hahah...no criteria...but in India wedding, there will be 5 ceremonies n no themes specifically. You wear what you want to.
Lemme explain the 5 ceremonies
1. Sangeet - which means sing together
On this day, both the bride's n the groom's families come together, sing, dance n celebrate with all their family members and friends. You can call this a pre-wedding reception. Usually thrown by girl's side of the family.

2. Haldi- Turmeric ceremony
On this day, they apply turmeric n sandalwood powder mixed with rose water n etc etc to the bride n the groom at their respective places. Also they play with colors and water. It's fun. It's said to ward of evil eye and after this ceremony the bride n the groom aren't allowed to leave their places or meet eachother till the wedding.

3. Mehndi- The henna ceremony
On this day girls n her bridesmaids (also grooms in certain cultures) get henna designs done on their hands. This is a very important ceremony. The initial of the guy will be hidden in the girl's henna design. And after the marriage, it's a task for the guy to find his initial in that henna design of the girl's hand. Also the darker the mehandi, the longer the marriages are said to last.

4. Wedding ceremony- The big day

5. Reception- The after party thrown by guy's side of the family.

So you gotta pick at least 4 dresses for 5 ceremonies...4 because the first two are sometimes done in one day.

I hate initial pendants because mine looks like a stick...
Lol! N mine looks like a cross...not like I have got such pendants. But my bff bought a T pendant for herself in my honor ππβ€οΈ
So maybe it's I or L π
Yes I, but if I shorten my name it becomes L π I never had such a pendant too, but made one with my letter out of beads for my bestie when we were kids. Also as a child I had a ring with letter "F", I thought it's funny.
Hahah... it's cute. We were not kids when she got it. She still carries it...my lovely friend ππ
Aaww sweet. What's her sign?
I hope mine still has it. I made the same with her initial for myself, bit lost it when I was moving out . π’
