That's like a very idealistic scenario. What tends to happen more often than not is that if women started a family at 20, they got divorced by 30 with very little means to support themselves, or got stuck in an unhappy marriage where the guy may or may not be cheating on them.

Cancer women are just very honest. And for whatever reason Cancers open up with me.
Men will commit. Just not the type of men who are women’s first choice.

Every time you quote me you just gotta mention me being married. Just makes you seem jelly or something that no girl would ever settle for you at the very least 🤷♀️ Thankfully these women on the other end are smart enough.
I can’t speak for Cancer women, but when I was a kid I wanted to have kids early on so we could relate better than me and my mom. But then I realized that my parent-child relationship won’t be the same bc I will actually talk to my children lol. So then I didn’t even want kids from the time of puberty to idk my mid-thirties! They weren’t for me, I couldn’t understand them, I wanted to live my life uninhibited, etc. It wasn’t until I met someone I really loved who would be a great parent that I even started thinking about having them, but we wanted to wait so we had some time to really bond and appreciate one another—and then there’s the financial concerns.
I don’t think having kids early is prudent unless you have a supportive family to help you. And I don’t. My mothers and grandmothers are all passed on and have been for quite some time. I feel like the most optimal time for kids is mid-30s. You still have your health and energy (if you took care of yourself anyways), you should be more financially stable, should have a support group by then whether that’s friends or family, etc. I have also worried about overpopulation since I was a kid, no joke. And that’s part of the reason I can’t understand people who have 14 kids!!! If you can support them all, hey good on you! But I think it’s super irresponsible in the grand scheme on things. I’m okay if I never have kids biologically—bc there are sooooo many kids who need someone!! Let’s support the people already here before popping out 10 more mouths to feed! Just my POV.

Completely foreign to me but I enjoyed every minute of it and saved myself well over 10K. Now my neighbours are asking if I’ll do their gardens. My Cancer brother is the same way when it comes to fruition.
However, something in our lives will suffer, struggle to thrive or die eventually. If we focus on love, our children and friendships will suffer. If our children are a priority, we can’t get our love life together. If we have love and family, our finances are a mess.
It is impossible for a Cancer to have it all, so we make hard choices that forever cause our hearts to ache.

So I went on some dates the last couple of months. To get out of the house more than anything. 3 Cancer women stood out. All 3 around 35.
I am not trolling. This is the truth. All 3 told me exactly the same thing:
-They really want a child, but find it hard to find commitment.
-All 3 usually date younger men. (Hey - good for you.)
-They are worried about their biological clock. Younger men don't want kids etc.
-This predicament gives them anxiety. Crying themselves to sleep. Etcetera. 2 of them on medication for anxiety.
-All 3 mentioned assisted reproductive technology such as in vitro fertilization. And raising the kid on their own.
I do like Cancers because they are so honest. Sometimes too honest. 2 of them are very successful. Owned their own homes. Businesses. Etcetera.
I am not making this thread to piss off DXP's feminists or anything. But it got me thinking. I am high after all. So it gets me thinking.
Is this really the best we can do? Imagine these Cancer women started a family at 20. By 30, they would have at least 5 kids. By 60, they would possibly have 20+ grandchildren. Isn't this more beautiful than what we are promoting today?
