I think guys always have options. It’s just that most people end up with those of similar looks/socio-economic background as themselves. However, today people want those way out of their league. There is only 10% truly beautiful people on the planet and those who have it all. Okay, maybe 25% . Rest has to settle and come to terms they will attract those similar to themselves. First step is to take a good, hard look in the mirror and your wallet, lol.

I agree. I have met people who looked mismatched in terms of looks. I'm not in the top 10% but I don't go for classic beauty, contrary to popular belief I'm not that looks driven. With money I don't care it's more about ambitions, I'm more about let's chase dreams, baby.

There's a saying a blind pig can occasionally find a truffle. I've sometimes batted above my average and (donkey) punched down. I've seen multiple women multiple times because they are a good fuck and only seen some once who were beautiful, but lazy. TBH everyone looks gorgeous with a mouthful of spunk. Too graphic, Alex.

I would say I could get girls not women 😅

A 35 year old cancer woman and I would have very little in common

I’m just here to guide girls into womanhood

Polish them a little bit

According to Jung, you are in arrested “mental development”. You are not mature. Leo moon trait 😛

Building something together can provide the relationship with a foundation that most relationships that were formed after both have achieved something can never provide.

Building an empire together. Start small, dream and achieve big.

There is something to be said about a power couple. And I’m not just talking about Hollywood stars or famous people.

They really want a child, but find it hard to find commitment.

Is this really the best we can do? Imagine these Cancer women started a family at 20. By 30, they would have at least 5 kids. By 60, they would possibly have 20+ grandchildren. Isn't this more beautiful than what we are promoting today?

Yikes, try listening better.

We need to pivot from plight of the modern woman and talk about the plight of the modern man.

3 dates in a couple months, that batting average is no bueno. If you want to baby trap a woman your gonna have to work a bit harder at it.

When did I say I had 3 dates in a couple of months? I said 3 Cancers. Lol

Also, you are pathetic for judging a man by the amount of dates he gets.

More ad hominem. I know you aren't too bright either. I said I was interested in conversation. There are various reasons I would not consider having a child with these nice ladies.

When you went through big trauma as a younger person you are stripped of all disillusions. You see the world straight including your own parents. All these "issues" you listed they are not real. I can even show you.

Explain.

School, College Diploma, Marry, House, Kids, Family, "Better Job", Religion, Politics - Stupid. Half of that is society created, the other half is biology through hormones. Nothing is the real you except with a dose of species survival instincts. What you asking these women is a waist of life and you're asking for it. Not to mention these women are way passed their prime on avg. And what you don't know is 99% of the time you won't be able to do anything with a woman. She will be the "brake". Everything a man accomplishes is without a woman. Women are the biggest drug there is. It lasts about 2 years. It kicks in stronger for them than for men, but it lasts for us much longer. Too long.

Why 35? Go on a date with a women 23-27. They are way more biological ready in the sense you want them to be. Anxiety? All Milenials I know are on it. They seek the "better" them, without accepting who they are. Hence anxiety. More, you're also projecting assuming 60 grands kids is "better". No one knows that. "Promoting today" - technically no one is promoting anything unless you let them. There are no gods, masters, lords, kings on this planet unless you let them.

Imagine you build a sail boat, put animals, musical instruments, and a girl friend on it, and sailed through internatioanl waters totally free from all. Without wanting any of the above from her, wouldn't that be better than what you are asking for? Maybe kids would come form it and you would all sail.

To make it fair, I was wowed by a Scorpio woman once. She was 39 and was like you looking for that meaning and she told me to have kids from in vitro (because of her looks she did not want to lose it). I even fell for it, because her "meaning" of life was very strong like yours. I actually believed her, even though I would never believe any other woman, and even though I had kids already.

Right now I would just go from one woman to the other, be nice to people, and not care about anything. Just like I did when I was a teenager.

Okay. Well - that is your world view. Not mine.

I happen to believe life is sacred. And that we are here to enjoy life - and create it. God even commands it. And I believe overpopulation to be a myth.

I mentioned it before. But I guess people don't read. I wanted to get out of the house, and have some conversation. I am not looking to shag every woman I go on a date with. I certainly was not planning on having kids with these ladies. While they may want children, their urgency should not affect what I want (simple conversation for now).

I do not see women as a drug.

And my friend. You do not need to educate me about youth and fertility. I know enough about biology.

You value different things. International travels on the water. That is cool. I value saving lives and creating life. We are just different.

You have kids. Good!

And I am glad you have a joie de vivre that works for you. Don't stop.

You say there is no God? That is sad. And you are very wrong.

Practice what you preach.

Also the trope of men telling women how to think, act, and live is so tired. Can you at least be creative and put your own spin on it? Or is that too much to ask from the MODERN MAN lol

People that are desperate to procreate even though they're single don't have enough meaning in their lives. They think that having a baby will change that.

That's pretty selfish.

"I'm bored, I lack sentiment, I'm not enough on my own, I see other people doing it...I want it!"

Unoriginal, too.

That mentality leads to class problems, as well. What do you have to offer a child if the sole reason that you want one, is for your own gratification?

I know the answer to that. Nothing.

Another thing,

Some only want children so they can make it look like they're real humans, when really, they aren't.

I’m confused on the logic here. Dude thinks he is really gonna change hearts and minds online when he can’t even get one rl woman to procreate with him.

I know I’m “not very bright” or whatevs but even I can do the maths on that one 😂and it ain’t adding up.

With all due respect to everyone, I think you are being a bit harsh to this Reincarnation guy.

I don’t think he is saying this to be mean. If anything, he’s doing a bit projecting.

Maybe he is getting “bit up there in age” himself or he has a hard time locking in a “good woman/good future mother” so he turns these discussions to be about women.

He should really look deep down inside and see what is stopping himself from finding true happiness. Last time he said he works a lot, but now lately he smokes a lot. I am getting concerned. I see him declining. And he has potential. He is otherwise a lovely and smart guy, but he is on the downhill spiral.

Does anyone else see it like I do? I see him as a wounded animal who needs a hug.

He just needs to jump off the pedestal he put himself on. That would be a great start, the drugs - second.

We have all put ourselves on pedestal at some point, haven’t we? Give him few years.

The drug of his choice is legal (not sure how it affects a person though). Oracle of Delphi teaches us “all things in moderation, including moderation”

Let me light up another one.

Yo, it's puff puff pass. Don't keep the good shit to yourself 😂💨

And damn y'all judgy about weed. At least you don't end up with a hangover from it. I know some people that basically keep a constant light buzz due to medical pain issues and they are still quite coherent and intelligent.

As a 35 year old Cancer woman with no kids, I will give you my point of view on this.

Us Cancers take family and commitment very seriously. To me, it’s either black or white when it comes to starting a family. If I bring a baby into this world, I want to make sure I can provide that baby with a real family. I don’t understand why many people start families to divorce later down the road. And with kids in the middle it gets worst.

I don’t know about those Cancer women you mentioned, but I’ve never found a lifetime partner to commit with. Because that’s what us Cancers want. As far as being a single mom that is a no no for me. Like I said, it’s either black or white. I went through some childhood trauma as well. My parents hated each other but stayed together? Why? Because they thought it was the best for me and my brother and I’m telling you it’s not. It’s not fun watching two people pretending to love each other and playing happy family just to look good in front of their kids. It’s pathetic actually.

So just consider that Cancers are not the type of people who take commitment lightly. I would never hook up with someone just to become a mommy. I want a real family.

Not a cancer but a cancer venus. I agree with what Bored and Beautiful said. Lol

But also, personally, when I was ready to settledown, I was honestAF as well. From day 1 I told my now husband that I want a kid and I want marriage. That way I wasn't wasting more years dancing around the topic only to find out the man isn't on the same page as me. And because my now husband didn't run away screaming "she's a psycho", well... We ended up together and we now have a little kid.

As a cancer venus, I feel a lot of love that I need to extend to family. Having a kid is like part of that extension. Nurturing is part of that. So to me, no matter what people these days say about kids being expensive to raise or hard to raise or whatever, I'd still much prefer having one than not. I could not describe in words how happy and fulfilled I am when I see my little one smiling. It makes me feel like all the decisions I made in life are worth it.

So I went on some dates the last couple of months. To get out of the house more than anything. 3 Cancer women stood out. All 3 around 35.

I am not trolling. This is the truth. All 3 told me exactly the same thing:

-They really want a child, but find it hard to find commitment.

-All 3 usually date younger men. (Hey - good for you.)

-They are worried about their biological clock. Younger men don't want kids etc.

-This predicament gives them anxiety. Crying themselves to sleep. Etcetera. 2 of them on medication for anxiety.

-All 3 mentioned assisted reproductive technology such as in vitro fertilization. And raising the kid on their own.

I do like Cancers because they are so honest. Sometimes too honest. 2 of them are very successful. Owned their own homes. Businesses. Etcetera.

I am not making this thread to piss off DXP's feminists or anything. But it got me thinking. I am high after all. So it gets me thinking.

Is this really the best we can do? Imagine these Cancer women started a family at 20. By 30, they would have at least 5 kids. By 60, they would possibly have 20+ grandchildren. Isn't this more beautiful than what we are promoting today?

Look - don't hate me more than you already do. I am merely playing devil's advocate.

But who can afford to have kids at 20?

I can't afford kids now.

Im not saying you are wrong. But.....is it realistic?
