Man, I learned to arm knit as well. I'll have to get some pics of that stuff and post it.

I made some scarves, a mermaid blanket, and a couple of other blankets. They were gifts, but I do have an awesome teal one that I am absolutely in love with the results of.

There's this that I posted on the front page-

I made coasters as well.

And the holder for it, which I was effing stoked about. So much can potentially go wrong when you make these things, usually in the firing process (things can crack and explode) as well as the glaze not doing what you expected it to do. So when it comes out like you want, it's like OMG LOOK AT THIS SHIT. Haha.

This kind of @rockyroadicecream and her posting her ceramics, but I want to see all the stuff DXPers have made through the years. I don't care if its art, clothing, furniture. Just post it.

I will start with my stuff.

Did you do the ceramics as well or just the decoration? Domo ftw. The Joker artwork is fab.

Is the figure made from resin?

Damn,

you guys are really skilled with handmade stuff.

Well... I make handmade wooden watches, and they're engraveable. Photos, logos, messages...you name it, we can do it🙂

Here's my website if anybody's interested🙂

www.omichronouswatches.com

(Sorry for not posting pics:p

I'm not sure how to do that on DXPnet)
Find the jpg link and just post the link. Duncan's made it so you don't need to know actual HTML in order to post pics. Just make sure the link is something like www. whatever.com/blahblah.jpg and paste.

And eff you for posting that watch link. I'm a fricken watch junkie. 😢

@rockyroadicecream - No, can't say I have made ceramics from scratch. I tend to only use them as a canvas to paint.

The figurine is made of polymer clay 🙂
Sweet!

For the hair, is that like a premade figure wig of sorts?

I made a horse figurine and I was going to try to attempt fiber like that as the tail but no idea where i'd need to start. Might have to resort to finding something like that and just cutting what I need and figuring it out haha.

No, I used a treated and pre-dyed sheeps wool patch from a figurine making vendor I know, and attached it using fabric glue. The hair was the biggest pain in the ass ever.

I bet. I made a hole for the tail, figured I'd do something and just glue it in there.

...but then I remembered the mane and it's like sonofabitch, I forgot about that. :/

Woah.

That's some seriously nice photography. I guess I'm just ignorant, but I never Aries were creative...

Guess I should add that to my Aries watch product description shouldn't I...
Haha thanks.

I'm not sure if ALL are, but high energy people tend to fixate on something to expend that energy. Funnily enough, I have two Aries coworkers who are the same. All three of us bake and bring stuff to work around the holidays or just because. Two of us are uber creative with random stuff. She and I were talking about it and it's just stuff to do because it's fun haha.

Damn I love hummingbirds
Meeetoo.

I've gotten attached to mine that buzz around. I thought they had all migrated and these crazy fucks are still hanging around, in one of the colder winters Cali has had in a while, no less. Once I realized that they were still here, I put the feeders back out, the poor things.

Now I've got 3 buzzing around my yard again, amongst the giganto flock of Finches who are in love with the seed feeder I put out two months ago. Toss in a California Jay, and some Mourning Doves and you've my aviary of a yard haha.

What kind of camera do you use?
I bought the canon d900 on a whim. (An expensive whim) I probably should have researched a little better but I'm not completely disappointed for an amateur camera. I like bird watching with it but I don't have a tripod yet so all my bird pix are blurry.

*The waterfall was with my phone

...Canon or Nikon? Nikon tends to use D### vs Canon.

Nikon hasn't even made a D900 yet, but there is the Coolpix P900.

A few tile jobs I recently did. The pictures do no justice to the job though because it's hard to take a picture of a whole shower or floor.

Image Not Found

This shower sucked bad. It was all glass tile, and set piece by piece.

Image Not Found

The floor with hexogons. It was super hard to do.

Image Not Found

Kitchen floor. It looks like wood but it's ceramic tile.

Image Not Found

Upstairs floor

Last job I did. Jobs like this are considered basic.

Photography?

These are from my yard. I think I may have posted some of these in the past. I had baby hummingbird pics posted ages ago, but I don't think I've shared these.

Your pics are amazing! Macro is my favorite.

I enjoy photography. I only dabble here and there.

You should post some of your stuff on 500PX. It's for anyone who loves taking pics.

The entire figurine is polymer clay that I hand sculpted, including the girl itself. Clothing and all accessories were hand made as well.

I documented the entire process of sculpting it.
