Tyra is a mess lol.

I'm not sure if this is a Sag trait or not, but I find her to be extremely controlling.

Raven Simone is rumored to be dating a model named AzMarie Livingston that was eliminated from AMTM. I youtube some videos of the girl and foundd clips of the episode where she was eliminated. I didn't see the show, but according to the comments, she was eliminated because she refused to wear butt pads lol. I've noticed, in the past, with the show that if you refused to do anything Tyra asks you are toast. She has ruined her show with her own behavior because she's VERY biased, and if she doesn't like your attitude then you are not getting far at all. She has it to where it almost has nothing to do with talent anymore. Anyway, here's the elimination. She couldn't wait to basically tell the girl about her ego, although she has one that's 10x worse.

I'd like Saggies to admit to being control freaks lol.

btw, AzMarie is a Cappie, so I bet Tyra was waiting to dish it to her and tell her about herself.

@MzSag, I'm not sure why she won't say it either, but if your not going to say what it is then it's probably best to not say anything at all. It's almost like she confirmed the rumors more than denied them with her comment.

I've always considered Tyra Banks as one of the most beautiful women out there, but that snide, pretentious way she had of speaking to those girls irked me. In my eyes, she lost a bit of the beauty that I admired. She came across as mean.

I'm sure most of it's just an act..I hope. That's the first time I had seen that show.

To answer the OP...I would agree that I can be a control freak...but I would say I am more concerned with self-control.
I get frustrated sometimes when I have no control over my environment but I could honestly give a fuck less what anyone else does. To each their own. If it doesn't hurt me or my loved ones...live on.

Doesn't mean I won't tell you about yourself if the situation permits. I look at that more like I'm calling it out like I see it...not really concerned with controlling anyone or trying to change the outcome.

These girls are pursuing a modeling career...Tyra is a very successful, world famous model...the girls are there to learn from her...she gives them advice. If it's hard to hear your attitude is going to negatively impact your prospective career...maybe you should look to yourself, not the person giving you advice.

The modeling industry is nasty brutal...it's catty, superficial, critical, etc. They should know what they're getting into
They'll be treated FAR worse by others

Aww I loved the Tyra Banks Show 😢 Her moralistic, tell it like it is approach was really refreshing lol She was actually one of my role models and still kinda is haha She's so strong and fearless and I always loved that about her.

I see your point, but in this case it appears the girl only messed up this one time. Tyra said she thought she would be a finalist for a reason, which was because she was good, so why eliminate her over one mistake? I would have talked to her, or tried to teach her a mild lesson, but an elimination over butt pads?

People probably will treat them worse, but when they are out in the "real" modeling world, they will have the power to decline work.

i loved Azz-Marie and i think Tyra let her pride get in the way. i dont think it was controlling, but an issue of Pride. Azzmarie clowned herself. she cant follow rules.

life. She still has much clout in the fashion industry.

I was exclusively referring to her original function in the fashion industry(modeling). Whereas Naomi Campbell,as she's aged(very well!)since debuting 20+ years ago, continues to book ads and shows as a high-fashion model. Tyra?...not so much. Granted, very few models are afforded the privilege of career longevity--Naomi is a veteran.

Tyra has general business skills and self-promotion have successfully kept her name afloat albeit some of said efforts(daytime talk show) were strictly lulz. I'd never claim she isn't prosperous, though.

tyra has aged very well. yeah she gained weight, but she lost it and looks awesome. Tyra quit modeling to focus on other things. like obtaining a Masters from Harvard! that is nothing to sneeze at. Naomi sounds more like a one-trick pony, something that Tyra is not.

she was my favorite. However, what AzMarie failed to comprehend is that she is the MODEL and models Do Not call the shots unless you become a supermodel, which AzMaries ia very far from. Models get turned down from jobs, Supermodels turn down job. Had she been more HUMBLE, she would have won. I do believe she will be picked up by an agency and even Tyra herself.

Tyra is a smart girl and she will still continue to mold AzMarie if AzMarie gets rid of her too cool for school attitude.

Not always, and not with all people. Everyone makes mistakes and need at least one warning, I personally believe.

This is why I personally believe she's ruining her show. You can't eliminate good people off of simple slip-ups and pride. It should be a show based on talent more than anything else, imho. She's gotten rid of Nigel, Jay, and the other judge, when they were the least of the problem. People want to see real talent come out of the show, and not okay models with kiss-a@@ personalities.

I mean, she's been doing this for a while and it's been on for a number of seasons, so SOMETHING is being done right, but in terms of the winners, I'm not sure if the show has released alot of talent.

AzMarie got cocky...big time! Tyra knew this and took her down a couple pegs and showing her when you're a model you do what the client wants....no matter how ridiculous. just my 2 cents

That makes sense. If I was in that position I can't say that I would have agreed to wearing butt pads and Tiger Ears(or whatever else it is Tyra wanted her to wear) in the video either, but I would have accepted the consequences, as it seems she did.

If she was really good(I personally didn't like her pictures) then hopefully an agency will pick her up. I didn't watch, so I don't know if she was humble or not, but I do know, one thing about many of us is that we will have certain boundaries, and won't care who you are. It'll screw us at times, but it is what it is.

It sounds like AzMarie will have quite the journey ahead of her if she's picked up and they are.

^^ I would believe so...I mean you can always refuse but its not gonna get you very far just like with any job. You cant go around telling the boss no (unless its something sexual) and expect to still have a job.

the designer is the boss, not the model. if AzMarie would have pulled that stunt with a designer, she would never find work in the modeling work for the rest of her life. she woulda been blacklisted.
