I don’t think it’s one or the other. I’m not a guy, but I think they seem to like some emotion and vulnerability. But not so much that it’s overkill and you’re smothering them with your feels all the time.

It depends on the situation, if you’re trying to talk to a guy about something important (that you feel strongly about), getting emotional usually makes men defensive and just look at you like you’re whining or acting too needy. So keeping your emotions in check at times like that is way better and more effective with communicating. And when you’re intimate, or on a date or anything else like that idk, I can’t imagine a guy who wants to be with an unemotional robot who doesn’t respond in a way that makes them feel loved.

But I don’t know about the control thing. I was more answering about what in general guys seem to be happy with.

You can be emotional and still they don’t control you.You just have to be strong to walk away if’s not right.

I can be emotional still I wouldn’t take any bs. But I am not afraid to show my emotional side to my partner sometimes, if not it wouldn’t work for me and I like when he does the same.

The only type of women who can control me are the type that can break through my moral values. Like I know right from wrong, and speak about staying on the right path all the time. Even when it's a conversation with women I know are trying to get me alone. I know why they want me alone too. The fact I try my best to avoid the wrong choices sparks a challange, so they start throwing in sexual advances. They know it's my weakness and an easy weapon they possess. This is where they fuck up though. I can obviously see they think they have me on a chain, but the second I get some free time alone with my thoughts I put up a wall they can't break. Till finally my phone is quiet again. Then a few months later they try again, and I give the same easy impression I can be controlled. They use sex as a weapon, but again I get some free time and rebuild that wall.

I'm not really sure who is controling who, or if I just tend to end up in a weird situation with women.

But assuming you were comfortable facing it (possibly because in relationship with the right man?), in quality of being a woman, do you think your natural inclination would be to bottle things up or be emotionally expressive? Because that's the thing, no matter how many hindrances women may face, I don't believe they're ultimately wired to be cold-blooded and defensive, hence not embrace that warm and colorful side that is so them.
