So, uhh, I went into this expecting something interesting, and that was what I got out of it. I will keep this post spoiler-free.
Basically, I wanted to watch either Don't Breathe (2016) or Stalker (1979), but since I wasn't in mood for philosophical stuff, I went with Don't Breathe. Although I saw the reviews and the positive feedback it got, I didn't watch it until now (I'm a yuuge horror fan).
So, this movie is a little bit less of a horror movie and more of a thriller. It's story is pretty simple at it's core - 3 robbers decide to steal money from a house where a blind Gulf War veteran lives, but during their theft, shit hits the fan.
I personally didn't think a blind old guy would be scary, but man was I wrong. This unique setting actually worked very well and led to some really unique moments. While it doesn't innovate or do anything groundbreaking, the movie tells a very thrilling story which should be definitely checked out (if you haven't done so already), especially if you are a fan of thrillers or horror movies. There aren't a whole lot of jumpscares and the film instead relied on a tension so thick that you could cut it with a knife.
FINAL THOUGHTS: Don't Breathe (2016) is a great thriller which should be checked out. The idea sounds odd on the paper, but the film's competent writing and directing allows for it to work out. Sure, the characters are rather simplistic and the film's plot is simple, but it executes it really well. This is a must-see and it is one of my favorite movies of last year.
So, have any of you seen Don't Breathe? What do you think about it? Did you enjoy it?

I've been on a superhero binge lately, and the movie industry has turned this category into a cash cow so we are looking at many years of development.
All time favorite to this date is definitely Civil War. Iconic and Disney has done a wonderful job w
Just saw it and it is really freaking good. Most sideline stories don't fair well, but this movie was impressive.
I'd tweak one thing though...

So sassy.
Like the title suggests, this movie was FANTASTIC! I just went to see it with my boyfriend and it was GREAT! I plan to see it again with my siblings. :D As a Harry Potter fan, I was emotional to be back in the universe! :')
Great stuff from JK Rowling
I've never even watched the series, or understand the story, but it's well talked about in anime circles.
what do you think about Scarlett Johannsen playing the Major? good bad? would it be better suited for someone else??

I prefer blood, guts, and bones over the Grudge.
Having been gifted with a vivid imagination, I am more jumpy when it comes to things on the Paranormal side of Horror.
My brain makes the images a lot more terrifying than it original is.
In short,
