I'd say either X-Men: Days of Future Past, Iron Man or Thor. However, I kind of want to see Chronicle and I have missed out on some of the films from both Marvel and DC.

Although Civil War and Age of Ultron were somewhat solid films, I can't stand the fact that they can't kill off a major character or two. This makes me feel like there aren't any stakes involved and I no longer feel the need to care about these films. The only 4-5 films I haven't seen were The Dark World, some of the solo movies, Winter Soldier and Captain America. I found the ideas in Iron Man quite interesting and Thor was a very solid standalone film. Guardians of the Galaxy are something I found above average as well.

I am not a big fan of Spider-Man and the last 3 movies were hot trash. Let's hope that Homecoming manages to capture my interest.

The DC superhero films haven't been good since Nolan ended his Dark Knight trilogy. Batman V Superman was not a very enjoyable experience and should have been directed as well as written by someone else. I actually didn't mind the actors they chose, my issues were with the lack of decent setup and writing. Suicide Squad seemed more interesting than BvS, but it still suffered from poorly cut footage and bad script/plot. I will maybe check out Justice League if it has good reviews.

I like the X-Men movies the most, except for Origins: Wolverine, X3 and Apocalypse. They feel more character-driven and tell interesting stories. Days of Future Past, despite it's plotholes, has been my favorite. I loved the performances and Quicksilver's character.

You have to remember Civil War is the beginning of team against team. They can’t kill off a major character without any background MO. I would like to see it headed in this direction, but I don’t think the movie industry would risk it currently as it’s turned into a simple formula for the box office.

Suicide Squad was trash, much more so than BvS. They made Harley the focus, granted Margot did a great job at the character, but Joker literally had no role in the film when he should have been the main character. The storyline would have remained the same regardless if Joker was present or not. There was no emphasis on the minor characters either. It was a disaster of the worst villain team put together.
