As far as women protecting their hearts, more so than men, to keep from getting hurt...I dunno about women doing it more than men. We just do it differently, based on my experience. It takes a while for most men to acknowledge their feelings...they don't konw what's going on, and try to avoid it. That's what causes the confusion between man and woman. Women express their feelings, but mainly through emmotions...crying, whining, yelling...never calmly and rationally...therefore, men don't know how to handle it.

Showing my emotions have worked for me in the past. There have been some occassions when I couldn't help but scream and cry to get my point across.
