Hello, so I went on a date yesterday with a guy I've been talking to for about a month now. The date was fun, and went very well. But I was wondering what y'all think about this pairing. We are opposing signs, so I'm curious about what you all think.

My placements:

Pisces Sun

Cancer Moon

Aries Venus

Pisces Mercury

Pisces Mars

His placements

Virgo Sun

Cancer Moon

Libra Venus

Libra Mercury

Virgo Mars

Heaven on earth.

Mine spontaneously moved in with me on Friday afternoon after having only previously brought up the possibility. It's been a mad 48 hours.

He has Harvey Weinstein's Scorpio Mars.......draw your own conclusions.

Oh wow! How long have you two been together?

hahaha Scorpio Mars ehh??

Unofficially about 6 months, since my bday in early March, but we were best friends for 4 years before that. I say unofficially because it's hard to pinpoint when it happened. He changed over time and he's unpredictable. He might've changed his mind about me much earlier but was too timid to do anything about it until he found out I was in love with him. He was straight, I was gay, I rubbed off on him.

He's Leo-dominant (me Aries-dominant) and he's got THAT Mars Vs my Aries Mars. His Leo Venus Vs my Aries Venus.

That's hilarious! But hey it happens! Especially since you two were best friends, y'all know a lot about one another. I can see how you two being fire dominant works out! So you two moving out was like an idea that y'all randomly brought up and he spontaneously did it? How did it make ya feel?

With this guy. We actually met about a year ago, but it was very briefly at a music festival. Then I didn't see him again until last month. He happened to be a close friend's coworker and we all went out. We instantly hit it off, and realized we had met a year ago. We ended up dancing and making out that night, so it was cool LOL It so happened that we both live in the same city, so we had been talking since then. The thing is, we both talked about wanting to move to Washington (we both live in CA) and he was like "maybe we can make it happen someday" and it kinda caught me off guard, but I like the directness. My Aries Venus makes me super assertive and direct, and I haven't dated anyone who would even say that, let alone be THAT assertive.

I don't like Virgo men but it seems water signs do for their stability. This is really quite a good pairing if you guys are patient enough to see things from one another's perspectives.
One of my closest friend's, who I've known for years has a Virgo Sun and Cancer Moon. We both are patient enough to view each other's perspectives and because of that we have a very strong friendship. She would come to me for advice and I go to her. It's interesting. So, I mean we shall see how this goes haha!

Well the beginning of us was almost like a personal dare to himself. Believing he was 100% straight, I told him that I found it very hard to be in love with him and be unable to be with him. But I had underestimated my worth. He had grown quite attached to me and relied on my being there for him when things turned to real crap for him. He didn't want to lose me so he offered up himself to me as a birthday present lol.

I told him not to go all impulsive on this subject, and to think about it real hard (it was February at the time so we still had about a month to go until my bday). If he still felt the same way a month later, then I'd be happy to drill him. I thought I might have a hard time letting him go after the first time so I was planning to turn him down. But then I thought "here I have the love of my life offering sex to me, and I have the chance to create a priceless memory that I'll cherish until the day I die".

Little did I know it was only the beginning. Again, I had underestimated myself. A few short months later I hear "I think I'm falling in love with you" coming out of his mouth. Then on his birthday this year he made it clear to his entire family that I belong to him.

He'd been spending most of his time the past few months anyway, and he recently brought up the possibility of making it official. By recently I mean a mere couple weeks ago. Then on Friday he leaves for an hour and returns up with his brother and a truck-full of his stuff. I was flabbergasted lol. I thought it wouldn't be any different, because like I said he'd been spending most of his time here anyway. But it's VERY different. HE'S more different, more intense. He's doing his morning workout right now, and when he's in the zone I leave him uninterrupted.

And indeed, Aries-dominants like to be assertive but are totally caught off guard when it's done to us. And you should consider making the move with him. Washington is far cleaner than California. I lived in Seattle for 4 months when I was a kid. But you should get to know him better before you make such a move. Jed is mentally solid (for the most part lol) so I know I can trust him with finances and the responsibilities you take on when you share a household. But can you say the same about Mr Kissy?

You also know what they say about Aries-dominants, eh? That we secretly love to be dominated.....ain't that the truth.

If you have any questions for his point of view, ask him yourself lol @sendintheclowns

Nice, it looks like things fell into place by itself, which to me seems like it's real, That's awesome that you were willing to experiment with him, mostly because a lot of the straight guys I know are super against it. I mean, it's always good to have an open mind because you never know.

Is this the first time you lived with a partner?

But yeah, I would definitely not move with him anytime soon. It would have to take awhile, let alone we would have to be official. But I am still feeling him out and seeing where things go.

I can say he is responsible from what I see. He is older than I am, 7 years older actually. So it's very different in terms of maturity. The largest age gap I've had was 4 years, but most of the guys I dated were either not mature emotionally or they were too irresponsible. I used to live with one of my exes who was a double Cancer, we were super compatible, but he was very irresponsible, so I had to be the one managing all of the bills/rent. LOL

Hmmm that's very true about Aries-dominants! Though, the only Aries I have is my Venus, though my Sun sign is on the Pisces/Aries cusp (if you believe in cusps). My birthday is March 20th haha. But I have waaay too much water in my chart for my own good hahah!

Oh cusps, I'm a believer. My Jed is on the Leo/Virgo cusp (August 23) and he's mental. How else do you explain a Virgo with a Cap moon to be so hyper? Add the Leo Mercury/Venus on top of that.

But don't be so quick to discount compatibility on the basis of age gaps. I'm 32, he's 25. Then again he does have that Pisces rising, so maybe it makes him wiser than most.

He actually made a thread on age gaps recently, you should check him out. Erm, check IT out. Hmmm......there it is. From the point of view of the younger half.

https://www.dxpnet.com/opinion/relationships/tips-on-making-the-age-gap-work--9258274/

And he's my second live-with relationship. First one was also a Virgo but turned out to be an ungrateful moron who got what he deserved a month after I broke up with him. This is only my third time of being in love. And the best one ever.

Yeah, the cusps makes a difference in someway. I tend to be a little more direct than most Pisces, but also I am an escapist like almost all Pisces, which is something I've been working on

I saw that post and just reread it. It helped a lot. But definitely, I agree with everything. What I like is mostly that his texting style kind of sucks in a way. Like I tend to write a lot during text, and he doesn't or we would respond a few times a day. But on the bright side, it gives me lots of time for myself to focus on my own stuff that's been going on. Plus we work a lot so it works in that sense. I like the maturity, and I find it appealing because most of my previous exes weren't very mature and didn't know what they wanted.

haha third time is a charm! I was in love twice, one with a Libra and my other was a Cancer. Both didnt work out, obviously haha!

Virgomens' P.O.V. is too narrow for a dreamer such as yourself mermaid, but even then some of my best friends are mermaids (f/f) and I have seen the Pisces/Virgo coupling work.

Good luck!

I have hit and miss relationships with Virgos. I have Virgo friends, and some virgo, well not technically enemies, but more like I find them annoying. Maybe it has something to do with my Virgo Moon?
Yeah, sometimes people with similar traits as my own annoy me for some odd reason. It might be my leo moon and wanting to be unique or something Idk

Virgomens' P.O.V. is too narrow for a dreamer such as yourself mermaid, but even then some of my best friends are mermaids (f/f) and I have seen the Pisces/Virgo coupling work.

Good luck!

Yeah, that was one thing I told him. He mentioned how we are opposing signs and I told him about one of my closest friend's who is a Virgo. She has very similar placements, the only differences being mars, neptune, jupiter, and saturn. But her and I are very open to each others perspectives. But he told me he's stubborn but I wanna try to open his mind up! LOL

I'm not a fan of texting. I prefer to do the talking live or at least over the phone. Well, actually the phone thing depends on who it is. I can't stand people who just won't shut up and keep yapping on and on and on. Last thing I wanna do at night is hold my hand to my ear for an hour+. Except with Jed. In our friendship period he'd call me up anytime during the day or night (even past midnight) to vent or shoot the breeze and each time would last at least 2 hours. If my dad tried that, I'd tell him to go fuck himself.

I've never gone for a Libra and I'll never allow myself to. Tried a Cancer before, didn't last long. He was very yummy but he was also too much of a mommy's boy. She was constantly in his ear about disapproving his decision to experiment with guys. By the end I was like "bleh, you can have each other". I remember seeing her again a year later, and she was all kissing up to me. I gues she felt bad but no fucks were given from my end, I was like "yeah no step back". My first love was a Taurus, but he was a sex addict who wanted no part of a commitment. Second guy was a Virgo, but it got complicated in the end. Happens when there's a kid & an ex involved.

On the time-to-yourself thing, I do agree it's important to maintain a healthy balance. If you're joined at the hip 24/7, you can burn out too soon and get sick of each other. Give each other a chance to make the heart grow fonder. Last night Jed stayed over at his mom's. Now it's almost 3pm and I still haven't seen him since. My hands are screaming out to me "I wanna hold him!!!".

I also give him complete space when he's working out. He's in the zone doing what he does and I leave him alone until he's finished. When he goes into our room to read a book, I leave him be. Thanks to our prominent Virgo placements, we fully understand the need for occasional solitude to mentally recharge.

Being with a silly goof can be fun, but eventually the difference in maturity starts to rear its ugly head. You both seem to be heading down different roads, further apart and the only thing really left to do is break up. Not good long-term potential.
